A Broken Promise

Chapter Two

Brendan and I land in Mossdeep quite fast,and just as I suspected May is there. Shes standing in the front of the space center looking up at the building with her Swampert."May," Brendan shouts, she turns around and smiles when she sees him. He walks over to her and they begin talking. "Oh,Opal,"I say to my Latias,"I wonder where Toby is."
Opal shakes her body in response, causing the opal necklace around her neck to make noise. I bend down to look at the necklace, just to make sure the mega stone is still in place. It has a tendency to fall off. Sighing I get back up, only to be thrown back down to the ground.
"Miracle, you slowpoke, you took forever to get here. Steven was right when he said you would be late."
I groan,"Yeah,yeah nice to know. Now can you get off?" I feel the pressure being lifted from my back and stand up to see none other Zinnia.
"Hey thanks for that,I love having back pain all day", I say bending my back. Zinnia just smiles and laughs,"You're welcome."
I walk back over to Opal, who has a big grin on her face."
"What are you so happy about," I ask as I grab five more pokeballs. "Maybe she's just happy to see me again," Zinnia states, walking over to the dragon. I scoff and throw the pokeballs into the air. The quiet town is filled with the happy chirps from my pokemon. My Sceptile, Banjo, Savage the Sharpedo, Delilah the Breloom, Nimbus the Altaria, and Heather the Ninetails. All of them helped me to defeat Steven. Banjo being the core of my team, he keeps them all together. Brendan and May walk over to me and Zinnia when they hear my partners."Miracle, what are you doing" May asks, patting Savage on the head. "Nothing."
I look over to Brendan who is eyeing them weird, "What are they all wearing,"Brendan asks pointing to the accessories my pokemon wear.
"Banjo, Savage,Opal, and Nimbus have them for their mega stones."Banjo wears a green anklet around his right leg, Savage wears a brown strap around her dorsal fin, and Nimbus, a gold ribbon with her name on it. Delilah has a black cape and Heather has the flower of her name on her ear. Before anything else happens Toby arrives later than usual.
"Wow,Miracle got her before Toby," Zinnia says mockingly. Toby groans then walks right past us. We all look at eatch other and I shrug my shoulders. "Hes just mad I got here before him", I say with a smile on my face. I hear him groan again and roll my eyes
"Calm down, Toby." I say walking over to him.
"Why are we here again" Zinnia asks looking up at the sky.
"I don't know," I say,"Steven wanted us to come here."
"Well,"May says, "instead of standing around let's go in."
I open up the door and all five of us walk in only to hear the sound of someone screaming.
Yay! Chapter Two is up and much longer than the first one. The first few chapters will mostly be revolved around the plot but from then on there won't be much exposition.The story will get better, promise ;)
