The events described in the early parts were by far not my first encounters with ghosts. Thing is, my parents were ghost hunters, before... Anyway, I had had many encounters with ghosts. No one in my family approved of my parents' profession, and they had few friends for the same reason, so no one could take me in when my parents went off on call, so they took me with them. It wasn't the best arrangement, but I was never in danger, I was normally left sitting with the client out of harm's way. Even so, my first memories are of ghosts. One particularly aggressive one got past the line of defense when I was three. The client, a particularly strapping man, had to pick up an iron girder from the construction site where we were (Don't ask), and hit the ghost, causing it to dissipate.
As I was saying, I was relatively safe, until that day, six years ago...
