Chapter Three
I am so happy! I got to go home early!! The only bad thing was...is that I got potato salad dumped down my shirt at lunch.
I was just cleaning up in my bathroom when I see my step mom walk into my room. I put the wash cloth I was using down and looked up at her.
She was a tall, pretty blonde haired woman. She had beautiful brown eyes and a slim body with nice curves. I smiled at her and went to sit next to her on my bed.
"Hey." I say to her.
"Hi, baby. Are you ok after today?" she says concerned.
"Yeah, just some popular's getting to people their jealous of," I say winking. She laughs.
"Oh honey. I'm so proud that you can stay strong for so long. I hate those bullies." she frowns. "if you would just let me come to your school, I could give them each an individual lesson." her frown turns into an evil grin and i'm laughing now.
"Mom, chill. Its fine." I laugh. She laughs along with me. Strangely though, my moms been a lot more serious lately. Its starting to concern me. She seems slightly worried over something.
"Hey mom. Can I ask you something."
"Go ahead." she says, motioning her hands.
"Umm...well. I've noticed how you have recently been acting kind of...strange. I mean, you seem so much more serious. Is everything at work ok?" I ask, getting more concerned when she frowned and notice a worried look settling in her eyes.
"Mom? you...you know you can trust me? Don't you?" I say quietly. She nods.
"I know honey. Its just my work has been keeping me later than usual and the thing I've been working so hard to keep safe is being bullied...I just don't know honey." she says sadly, shaking her head.
"Ok. Mom, I love you." I say, putting my head on her shoulder. I notice tears in her eyes.
"I love you to."
*NEXT DAY*
I get up groggily the next morning, feeling like complete shit.
After dressing in a purple shirt and black leggings, I ran down the hall and straight to school.
I had woken up at fricking 8:10 this morning!
Once I got to school, it was 8:15. I rushed into school and sprinted to my locker. Stuffing everything in my locker except for my math book and a pencil, I slammed it close.
I went to my math class. When I walked in, everyone looked at me and smirked. Their smirk vanished when I did my famous death glare at them and went to my seat in the back corner.
I sat all alone. I didn't really have any friends. I just wasn't exactly the friendly type.
"Miss. Anderson. Please bring me your pass." I look up from my desk and realize the teacher is talking to me.
"My pass?" I repeat, confused.
"Your pass. You got to class late." He states, smirking. I glare at him.
"Well. I'm sorry, but I don't got no pass." I smirk when he frowns. While he's shuffling around in his desk drawers, I stick my tongue out.
"Jordan Anderson! That's not a very nice thing to do to the teacher!!" A girl named Chloe yells at me, smirking when the teacher looks around catching me sticking my tongue out at him. I simply huff and cross my arms.
