Chapter 1: The Ones

"Hi its Mia, i'm here with Jake, Hannah, Dawn, and Cloud. I'm posting this vide-" A scream comes in video and ends.

"Ok i'm Mia, I have three incredible friends that look out for me. Until we came apart."

"Bro are we really doing this?" asked Jake while picking up his apple. "Yes, finally some excitement around here." Replies Cloud.

Gabe and 4 other kids come over to the group's table. "Oh, God.." whispers Hannah holding a grape close to her mouth. Gabe grins. "WEll hello little nerds. I wanted to come and give you a little gift for being weird." Gabe grabs Dawn, "You first little girl."
Jake comes over to Gabe. "Whoa dude, I dont like your tone and how your doing that to her" "Oh yeah, what will you do if I do something like this?" Gabe pushes her against wall. Jake grabs Gabe's hands and kicks him on ground, and takes Dawn's hand and walks back to table. Every one is speechless sitting in their spots
staring at Jake, including Dawn with no words.

Mia comes in and says "Wow Jake, I know you wanna look out for us. But now we all probably have detention becuase of the new cafeteria security camera's that Principal Cluster set up." She gets up and walks out of cafeteria. Jake sighs and turns to Dawn and she stares at him.
She gets up and walks out of the cafeteria. Mia who didnt eat the whole lunch period was at her locker grabbing her Secret Diary and some other books for her next class period. She feels a hand on her shoulder and almost screams. "God Jake, you gotta stop doing that." Jake grabs her and and pulls her behind wall. "Okay Mia, I need you to make me another device to my well, you know what I mean. I still don't know if I should tell the others." He said is a whisper voice. "I'll have to give it to you in three days, i'm sorry Jake." She replied. "But that's on Friday, it's only Tuesday!" He said. "You have to wait Jake." She said walking away. "Fine..." He said quietly to himself.

He sees Dawn walk by, so he grabs his stuff and hides. Dawn grabs stuff from her locker, looks around her, nobody is there except Jake hiding and her looking out, she sees nobody and runs down the hall to the rooftop. "I
s-should see what she is doing maybe," he sighs and just walks outside behind the school. Since Jake was an orphan growing up, he never liked to move orphanages, so he lived behind a little gas station most of his life, until one day it got locked up, sold, and destroyed. So he snuck into schools to schools 7-8th grade, it wasn't the best education a child could of gotten, but that's how it was. Now, he found a school which he go's to with his friends Mia, Cloud,Hannah, and Dawn. He found a little pond with a tree a few feet away, which had a little hole hidden next to it, that only he knew about. It was a tunnel underground, which led into a room, he figured it was the school's old underground library which was forgotten, so they extended the school to make a new library a year ago.
