Chapter 10

Sophiya's POV

I was shocked the moment I opened my eyes. In front me was a green door, and also there's an heavy medicine smell. I tried to move but then I felt someone holding my arm. When I turned my head to see who is it,I saw a guy napping beside me and I almost screamed out loud.

"Oh, you're up" he suddenly opened his eyes, his deep green eyes always comforts me whenever I see it. I've been staring at it so long that I didn't notice the next words he said.

"Hey!" He waved his hands in front of my face, "Are you deaf?" He seriously asked.

"How the heck will I be deaf!?" I was evoked so eventually my voice became louder.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Are you okay now?" Tae Hyung asked while stretching his robust body and smirked at me.

God, I saw that smirk again

"Why am I here?" Three wrinkles appeared on my forehead as I raised my eyebrows. "You fainted while we're having the swimming battle" he quickly replied.

I forgot. We had a swimming battle last time, why did I faint. Does it mean I lose? Do I need to kiss him everyday? Why are these all happening at me for goodness sake?

"Why are you wearing your uniform? Do we have classes today? Isn't it that today is Sunday?" I pointed the calendar which was hanged on the wall.

"Nothing, I just want to wear it" he said evasively and quickly turned his sight away from me. A weird guy he is. Maybe I should train him how to lie naturally.

"I should go out now, the nurse is coming in" he interrupted my day dreaming on training him to lie. "Sure" I answered.

"Good Morning" the nurse greeted me with a smile which made her more beautiful. I realized she was the nurse I met last time I fainted at the aisle. It's really a small world.

"Good Morning too" I smiled back. She has a perfect body shape yet she didn't reveal her precious body parts. How rare it is to see things like this now on our generation.

"Feel better?" She asked

"Yeah"

She sat beside me and began talking. "My name is Stephanie, you can call me Steph. I like to make friends by the way, don't be afraid to tell me your secrets. I'm a really trustable locker" she introduced.

"What about you?" She still smiled.

"Um, I am Sophiya, Sophiya but not the common spelling. It is spelled as S-O-P-H-I-Y-A. Unique enough, right? I am currently studying at Star High". She seemed contented with my response.

"What about the kiddo out there? Is he you're classmate?" She asked.

"Yeah, he's a new student" I answered.

"He's not your boyfriend?" Stephanie jokily asked me.

"Never" it suddenly blurt out of my mouth. "Why is he wearing his uniform by the way? Today is Sunday right?"

"Actually" Steph said, "He didn't go home".

"Why didn't he go home?" I was still confused by her answer.

"You still didn't get it?" A sigh escaped from her lips, "He slept here everyday before you woke up, just to take care of you".

He took care of me?!? Is it true? I doubted what the nurse said. But.. Why didn't he change his uniform if Steph was lying?

"And also" Steph interrupted my subconscious mind. "He was the one who absorbed the water you drank when you fainted at the swimming pool"

"What? How?"

"He... attached his lips to yours, and absorbed it" she said.

What... Is... Happening. Does it mean my first kiss was stolen by him?

"I need to go now, the doctor is calling me" she smile once again.

I felt my face burning because of the blush I had. Why am I blushing? There's nothing to blush about. Sophiya, you should act naturally. Don't ever let him think that you like him.

Ugh

Tae Hyung entered the room. I attempted to act like nothing happen.

But I can't

"Is it true?" The words suddenly blurt out of my lips. "Th... Tha.... That y..ou stayed here to take care of me and didn't go home?"

"How did you know?" He was shocked by the time I asked him. "Did the nurse tell you?"

I nodded

"Dangit, girls really like to gossip" he punched the wall as he talked.

"And.." I added

"Is it true that you're the one who absorbed the water I drank when I fainted?" I awkwardly questioned.

An awkward silence suddenly occurred.

"... Yes" he replied, "but that's the only thing I can do in order to make you safe"

He still tried to explain, but I interrupted him.

"Th.. Thank you.." I said.

"What?" He didn't hear what I said.

"I said thank you" I repeated.

He stopped what he was doing, and stood there for a long time, suddenly, his lips moved, "Sure. You're welcome" he smiled. His white teeth amazed me. He looked more handsome by now.

I don't know why I thanked him, but that's the first thing that popped out of my mind. That's so not Sophiya, I didn't even blame him for doing such thing. I.. I kept blushing while I'm talking to him. But, the moment I said the word thank you, I realized it made the stones in my heart to vanish.

"Feeling better now?" He asked.

"Yup" I smiled.

My heart beat became faster.
