is like watering a flower
that will never grow --
or a winter that lasts a lifetime
without any signs of snow.
everyone has a heart
but not everyone can use it
and the people with big hearts
are prone to confuse it.
loving someone who cannot love
is like living in the night sky
without any stars --
or traveling down a long road
without sitting in a car.
what does it take?
they can never feel the same.
blinded to love
and too distracted by their pain.
loving someone who cannot love
is like shattering a glass
wanting to keep it safe
but breaking it in half
over one small mistake.
The feeling won't ever fade away
Love is here to stay
But at the end of the day
Theirs never existed in the first place
When was love ever true, anyway?
