I slowly start waking up my eyes feel like they're stuck and it takes me a couple minutes to get them to open. When they open all I see is a very bright light and I can here a faint beeping noise, when my eyes adjust I see that I'm in a hospital and I see Gabriel in the corner sleeping. He looks so peacefull, slow puffs of air leave his mouth and he looks like he hasn't been sleeping. I look around the room and notice I'm hooked up on an IV there is a clock on the wall that tells me it is quarter after seven in the morning! How long was I out! What if my mom finds out she's gonna punish me something terrible I start panicking and the beeping noise starts to get louder and more frequent. I hear the sliding door of the room open and I look towards it and see Dr. Green standing their in a white long coat and his hair is pulled back into a small pony at the nape of his neck. He walks up to me and sits on the side of the bed " Sang calm down everything is okay " he says soothingly I look in his Forest Green eyes and start to control my breathing. "Good girl" he says comfortingly. I start to here rusting where Gabriel is sleeping and see that his eyes are open he jumps up from his chair and walks to my bed and pushed Dr. Green away from the bed to take his spot. " Trouble your awake! " he shouts "Trouble?" I said hesitantly, Did he think I was trouble? His face softens and he says " I'm kidding don't listen to me, okay? " I nod slowly confused " How long was I asleep? " I ask hesitantly not sure I want to know. " Dr. Green steps up next to me and says " Pookie you were out for about 24 hours " I looked at him shocked forgetting the fact he called me pookie I only thought of one thing, My mom! "I need to leave now!" I say frantically I start moving to get up off the bed but get put back down by Gabriel pushing on my shoulder. "Hold on there Trouble." He says while holding my shoulder down on the uncomfortable mattress. I look at him panting, they proceed to tell me things that I don't hear in the midst of my panicked all I see is that mouth moving, my chest starts to hurt. Dr. Green comes around to the side of the bed that had my IV stand near it. I don't notice the needle in his hand until it's too late.
