*JAKE'S POV*
After me and Brittany were done getting lunch from Taco Bell, like after the whole scene of me and Casey's fighting was over, Brittany told me things would never work out between us. And just like that she left. But all well I didn't like her that much any way. I met her from my friend Daniel. One day when I was over at his house playing video games, he told me he had invited a friend over. When she came over we all hung out and I got to know her and she got to know me. We got to talking and something just clicked. Then the next day Casey and I broke up and I asked Brittany on a date. But I'm guessing that the whole fight with me and Casey scared her off.
I decided that I was going to tell Casey that I was sorry for being a jerk. It was late and it started to get dark and I thought I would just walk to her house to burn some calories. Wow Casey even got me to think about calories. I better not bring things up like that around my guy friends or they'll think I've gone nuts or am drunk again. On my way to her house I saw her walking. I started to walk fast to catch up to her. She started to run so I ran to catch up to her. I yelled "CASEY! CASEY! HOLD UP, STOP RUNNING!" I finally caught up and reached my hand on her shoulder. She turned around then WACK! She punched me then that's the last thing I remember before waking up on a couch.
"Oh my gosh are you okay?" That was the first thing I heard when I woke up. I knew it was Casey I would know her voice any where. I felt a warm wash cloth over my left eye.
"Yeah, I guess. My head hurts tho." I said trying to open my eyes. I could only get the right one open. I couldn't really see my self but I knew my other eye was swollen shut. Casey could kill someone if she wanted to with just her bare hands. She may be skinny but her boxing and karate classes really made her strong.
"I'll go get you some pain reliever." And with that she left the room. I wonder what time it is and how long I was nocked out for. "Here." She said while handing me some pills and a glass of water. She helped me sit up.
"Thank you for taking care of me." I said meaning every word of it.
"If it weren't for me you wouldn't be sitting here with a swollen eye. I shouldn't have hit you I'm sorry. I didn't know who you were until you where laying on the side walk. You scared me half to death, I thought you were some weird, crazy, stalker guy trying to kill me." I had no idea I had scared her. I didn't mean to. No wonder she punched me, not holding back at all.
"I didn't know sorry. I thought you knew it was me."
"No, I didn't. But what were you doing chasing after me?"
"I was walking to your place to tell you I was sorry for acting like a jerk at taco bell."I laid back down. Slowly because it hurt to move. I was so sore from the punch plus the fall.
"I'm so sorry. You were just trying to apologize and all I did was punch you in the face." I started laughing. She made such a big deal over every thing. And she always made things so dramatic.
"What? What are you laughing about?" She said smiling non stop, but still having a very confused look on her face.
"Oh it's just how you make things such a big deal when there not really that bad. That's one of the things that make you, you." She blushed. I loved making her blush. Sometimes she will blush for an hour, and that's how I know she keeps replaying what I say in her mind over and over again.
"Oh really and what is me exactly?" She that that with so much sass, like she didn't think I had an answer.
"You over think, you like things neat yet your room is normally a mess, you had brown hair yet you dyed it red to a darker brown then normal just to try something new, your beautiful in every way and if you talked to people more often you would be popular and every one would love you. Yet that love is lost somewhere in time. You mean the world to me and I can't bare to lose you. If you only want to be friends, then we'll only be friends as long as I get to see you, and talk to you." I made her blush even more. She looked so cute when she blushed.
