~Chapter 7~
Jessica's P.O.V
"Jess, wake up! We have to go pick up the car at Justin's studio!", Chelsea shouts excitedly from all the way in the living room downstairs.
Just what I needed. To be reminded I have to see Justin again today..
"URGH", I groan while standing up from my bed.
I walk to the bathroom and hop in the shower. I shampoo my hair, then condition. I wash my body and then rinse my hair out. I grab my towel, wrap it around myself and then walk back to my room. I go to my closet and pick out my batman croptop. I walk to my dresser and pick out black shorts. I've been wearing shorts lately since it's summer. I grab my black & white converse and put them on. I grab my phone from my night table, and walk downstairs.
"Ready?", Chelsea asks.
"Yup, but let's go walking. It's not so far from here", I answer.
"Sounds good, and we can stop by and get some Starbucks", Chelsea adds.
"Alright, let's go", I agree.
We arrive at Starbucks. "Hello, welcome. Can I get your order?", the barista asks. I look up at him, "Yeah su-",I pause. "Skylar?", I ask in shock. Skylar's my ex.. what a douche he was.. "Oh hey Jessica, are you guys going to order?", he asks while giving Chelsea and I an evil smirk. "I'll have a vanilla bean with a pump of raspberry syrup", Chelsea breaks the awkwardness.. "I'll have a caramel frapp..", I answer.
Skylar raises an eyebrow and then bites his lip with an evil look painted across his face, and then starts preparing our orders. "You saw that right?", Chelsea whispers looking confused. "See what?", I asked as if I didn't see anything. "Jess, just be careful with him.. alright?", Chelsea says with a worried look. "1 vanilla bean with a pump of raspberry syrup and 1 caramel frapp", Skylar says while putting our order on the counter. "That'll be 8.92",Skylar says while waiting for us to pay. "I'll pay", Chelsea says while handing Skylar the money. "Thanks..", I say. Chelsea starts walking out. "Let's go Jess!",Chelsea turns around and says. "Wait..",Skylar demands. "Ill be right there Chels",I shout out at Chelsea."Are you hooking up with anyone? I'm single now and I was thinking..", Skylar says while giving me a smirk. "Skylar, we're done.. now leave me alone", I snap at him. "Damn, still as feisty as before.. I like it..",He bites his lip. "Fuck off", I say as I start walking towards Chelsea. I flick Skylar off and chelsea starts laughing. "Yup, I think that's the first time he's ever been REJECTED!", Chelsea says and then sips out of the drink. We sip our drinks as we walk. We arrive at a nice looking location. "I'm assuming that's studio?", Chelsea asks. "Guess so, this is where the address he sent me leads to",I answer. We walk to the entrance where securities were standing, guarding the studio. "Jessica Somers", I say to the security. "Ah yes, Justin has been expecting you", He says. "Right this way", he says while opening the door and leading our way. The security opens the glass door for us. We can hear the music all the way from the hallway. We walk in. Justin was recording with will.i.am. I'm a big fan of his.
"Omg, that's will.i.am!", Chelsea mouths since the music is too loud. The music stops and Justin takes his headphones off. He opens the door that leads to this side of the room. "Hey, you guys made it!", he says excitedly. Will.i.am walks towards Justin. "Aye man, that was some good recording session we had today", will says while giving Justin a highfive and then bringing him into a hug. "Guys, this is Will.i.am", Justin introduces us. "Jessica Somers", I say while giving him a smile. "Chelsea Brooks", Chelsea shakes his hand. Just then, two familiar looking guys walk in through the door. "Yo Justin", One of them says while handshaking him. "What's up my man?", Justin asks. "Guys these are my best friends.. Ryan and Chaz", he says while pointing at each of them. No wonder they looked familiar.. from pictures Chelsea has shown me of them with Justin. "Hi. Jessica", I say while shaking hands with each of them. "I'm Chelsea", Chelsea says while giving Ryan a smile. "Very.. nice to meet you", Ryan says while winking at Chelsea. Woow, what's going on here? "Guys, i've got to get going, very nice to meet you all. Justin, Ryan, Chaz see you guys at the party" Will.i.am says while walking towards the door. "Ightt man", Justin answers. "Well, Justin we're here for the car so if you will please just give me the keys..", I say. "Why are you guys leaving so soon?", Ryan asks while looking at Chelsea then back at me."Well i've got to go pick up my parents from the airport later on.. They were on vacation to Hawaii for a week..", I answer. "Alright, let's go get it in the parking lot", Justin says while opening the door. I see Chelsea and Ryan talking and laughing. Chaz is just on his phone. "Chels, are you coming?", I ask before exiting the room. "I'll wait here, call me when you're outside", Chelsea says. Wow, seems like Chelsea is really into that Ryan guy. I start walking with Justin. "So you're still not impressed?", He asks while chuckling. "Not quite", I say while looking away from him. We walk and then we finally reach the car. "Just a sec.. I'll just call Chelsea to start walking outside", I say. "Don't. Can't you see she's having a good time with Ryan?", Justin says. He's right, I wouldn't want to interrupt them.. "Besides.. It's a beautiful day, maybe we can drive around..", Justin suggests. "N-", I start to say. "Come on, if Chelsea and Ryan hook up, you'll probably won't have to hear her talking about me all the time..", He tries to convince me. "Sounds fair..", I say while smiling. Justin looks at me and then puts on his shades. "I'll drive", grabs the keys from his pocket and gets in the car. I get in the car. Justin starts the car and looks at me beneath his shades,"So where are heading to?"
