Dark Awakening (Liam fanfic)

Chapter 2

*my chapters most likely won't have numerous pages, i'll just post like one page per chapter :)*

"Liam come play a round of beer pong" Zayn slurs out of his mouth, clearly drunk as ever. I just nod in agreement and walk over to the table where Tyler and Martin are already anxious to get the game started.

After finishing the game of beer pong i step outside for a minute.. the smoke is giving me a headache and being drunk doesn't help either. I look over to Louis, Harry, and Niall but they're all occupied playing their own game of beer pong so i decide to walk over to Zayn and tell him i'll be back in a minute but he's already making out with some girl in the corner so i just leave him be and head outside.

I've walked through this back alley many times before but this time it's different.. there is a girl at the end of the alley with a familiar guy. I don't see him often around but when i do, he always causes trouble. Not that i'm very clear in the head right now but i see him punching her in the face and she keeps wincing at the pain he's causing her.  

I never have an interest in anyone but this time is different. I jog over to the two and as i get closer i notice he seems to be around 20 years old and the girl a year younger than him. With his blood shot eyes i can tell he's been drinking and the second i glance at her all i can see is fear in her eyes. I'm getting very annoyed with this guy so i push the girl behind me so that i'm now a shield between them.

"What the hell is your problem" i manage to say through my annoyance. 

"Get out of here, you have no business getting involved" The guy shouts at me, very annoyed he isn't in control of the girl anymore.

It's really strange to be having a conversation with this punk knowing i normally would have just beat the shit out of him already but i decide against that knowing i'll just scare the girl even more.

I normally don't even care about other people but this time i make sure that this girl gets away from him safely and goes home. 

He keeps punching at me trying to make me move and my annoyance is growing strongly where i finally lose my temper and throw one punch at his face making him fall to the ground and wince in pain. I'm glad he finally feels what the girl felt. 

Before this guy gets up i quickly turn around and grab the girls arm and go to my car. I need to get her out of here. 

"Where are you taking me" She finally asks me.

"To my apartment, you'll be safer there than your own apartment, that guy has killed someone before." I tell her and she nods.
