A rock skidded across the floor, an attempt to crack Luna's skull open. She dove into the closet as the rocks kept flying through the window. If a rock didn't crack her skull open, the sound would, as dozens of rocks and pebbles sailed through the window. Adam's eye shot open when the door shattered. The mayor stormed in. He was human just... mangled.

"Luna! Get out here now, the stew is ready and I need the last ingredient!" Adam began to vibrate, causing Luna to readjust the pants.

"Strike now!" Luna lunged out at the mayor but didn't get the blade to connect as he grabbed her wrist.

"Let go." She grunted flailing. Her heartbeat accelerated as she did.

"I'll have fun gutting you." She hadn't noticed but the rocks stopped coming through the window. "Maybe my wife will have fun beating your dead body with bones. If you can't tell yet, we hate outsiders. But soon you'll be an insider." Luna finally quit squirming. She felt her body quit, but Adam wasn't going to. To Luna's surprise she became a human puffer fish, causing the cannibal to drop her.

"This isn't how you treat your guests. I for one know." She scraped up her knife. "It ends here." Luna was dressed into a black dress. "Wait what?" She looked at the mayor. Adam had to resist else they both die.

"You're right. Now that's a good man." Adam reverted to the jacket and jeans. Luna swung and missed. Nothing was going to be effective.

"ADAM GET OFF ME!" She screamed, causing her boyfriend to appear in front of her.

"Sorry my eyes only." His arm became a spear and punctured the mayor's face, causing him to drop, gushing blood from the impalement. "Luna." She sat quivering on the floor, tears flooding onto the floor. "Do y-" She threw herself at him, wrapping her arms around his thigh. "Luna, come on. We'll go get pants and a jacket, and then we'll go wait for mom and dad. Alright?"

"Okay." She mumbled weakly, although Adam was positive she just wanted to stay around his leg.

"You look cute like this." She punched his leg. "What? Your underwear is cute, but not as cute as you." She looked up at him tears falling away to show him her smile. "Thank you." She stood and looped her arm with his.

"Let's go big boy." Luna grabbed a dress to her knees and fixed herself up.

"Wait, don't you want this?" Adam handed her a faded red ribbon. "Put it on." She did, lacing it in her hair. "Looks cute." She shrugged walking downstairs cautiously. His 'wife' was on the ground skeleton and all. They both counted a total of five skeletons.

"All of his voices." Adam nodded opening the front door. "Tally ho, to shop we go!" Luna stood on the sidewalk looking at the bustling street. Adam stepped towards a more recent corpse.

"A young girl slaughtered for no reason... bitch witch." He hurried out to Luna, who was halfway down the street.

"Now lets get the jeans and jacket." Adam nodded handing her the ten dollars. "This is fifteen, then a shirt to."

He nodded helping her get the clothes and of course buying them, due to her social anxiety. They walked out of the store, Adam now holding a bag.

"Now back to camp." She grabbed his hand.

"Yeah, back to camp." Luna repeated.

When in their tent Adam used a small knife to cut Luna's dress off. She felt Adam's hand run down her back. "Honey?"

"There's a spring nearby. We should go there, I bet they'll be waiting for us by the time we get back." She shivered.

"Are you asking me onto a date?" He shrugged. "One at that where we'll both be naked in a spring, where no one is around... what are you planning you sly dog?"
