Disappointed with the ending?
Sorry if I ended the story this way. I just wanted you to learn a lesson and I also wanted to make the story realistic. If you wanted someone, tell her or him how you feel. But never give them falls hopes, for it is very heartbreaking. And don't be afraid to take the risk or be rejected. If you tell someone you love them and they reject you, don't feel bad because at least you try to make the move. Sometimes, [like in the story] you are both hiding your feelings for each other.
