We're tied to this earth with a fragile ribbon..
It's existence forgotten,
Unknown to humans,
It tightly holds us to the blue planet.
It is loosest at youth,
Tightening as you ripen into the cruel society.
As you mature even older,
It grows tighter at the acceptance of death,
Pulling tensely at its host,
Stretched thin moments before death.
RIP!
Shredded in a second.
Laying on the ground the forgotten ribbon.
Tears, and screams are seconds away.
The ribbon is replaced with a bow.
Sitting on their casket.
Surrounded by bouquets.
An offering to the dead.
