I was so angry with the idea of a stranger stealing my first kiss. I closed my eyes shut. Suddenly I hear a husky voice whispering to me:
You should be careful with men at this time of night.-Reiner said
He showed me something I'd never seen, a mischievous smile with two devilish hungry eyes, showing me the reflection of the moon.
In all of this mess I hardly noticed that the king has stood there dumbfounded looking at us.
May I ask you what is going on in here?- Raug questioned with a straight face showing that he was misunderstanding something.
I let Raug's name slip under my breath, while Reiner slowly puts is hand on my back gently, I looked at him, and his mouth showed me a bothered smile, as he clicked his tongue, the look that he had on his face on his is scary. I wonder why he's doing that face to Raug.
-Z what are you doing with that man?Raug asked.
-Raug I'm sorry to say but that is a matter that should not concern you.-Reiner said.
-Raug...I... I was just here getting some fresh air I'm... - Z said.
-Just leave!- Raug said.
I bite my lower lip in frustration and start to walk to the door, trying to contain the tears that were almost escaping, Reiner notices it and grabs my arm and starts walking pulling me with him, under my breath the words I'm sorry seem to escape from my mouth..
But then Raug grabbes my arm and says
Z those words weren't meant to you, he's the one that should leave,so please stay.- Raug said
Huh?! Where is he?- I turned around when Raug asked me to stay but Reiner wasn't there anymore.
Reiner cleans his throat and says
Z I'm truly sorry I didn't mean to neither scare or hurt you, but I guess I just can't stand it when I see a man next to you like that. Raug said
Heh?! I don't get it but I have the feeling that... Never mind that, as I wipe away these questions and try to come up with something to break the silence I suddenly remember!
Raug don't worry about it I won't ever be afraid you, I promise we've known each other forever but besides that... Who was that man? And why did he look so bothered to see you?
Uh he's my brother and I don't even know what he was doing here... But Z please for now forget about it I've got something to ask you... As he clears his throat once again he turns his back at me and says Z I have a request for you, would you mind hearing it?-while Raug's saying this I can't seem to take my eyes off of him and start to notice his large back, his muscles are sort of being enhanced by the black tuxedo that he's wearing huh? What's that? His ears and cheeks are redish, shoot why is my heart beating like this, my cheek are getting really hot, it must be him, I got flustered at seeing that face of his, it was a first, he looked so manly yet so handsome with the glow of the stars sweetly covering his eyes and face. Ah! I feel so nostalgic I remember when we were little, the way he'd always save me when I got into trouble and those times when we used to go to the kitchen grounds and leave running with our hands full of food, Ah! I remember so well, we used to give them to 3 puppies we found in the grounds of the palace.
Do you remember Raug? Those days... Ah! I wonder...
Raug looks so big now... He would always look at me with a happy face even when the Queen died... His mother was such a wonderful person, she would cover for us when we got into major trouble, she was so sincere, friendly and really pretty I now realize that Raug got his mother's features. Now that I think her I understand I really thought of her as my own mother as well... When she died I got so sad I cried for a week, but Raug... He didn't... He stood strong for me, even though his real mother died, he kept by my side all the time, the way he patted my head that time. Oh shoot I'm getting all sad this can't do I've got to stop thinking about this.
Raug looked at me, with a surprised look on his face, he got even more blushed while he reached to my hip, pulled me in towards him and patted my head. Then breaking the silence he says
Z you should not be making that face when you're around man, I'm saying this as your friend but mostly because I'm a man too, you know it's definitely fine for you to that face around me but only for me okay? after all I want to be able to love all sides of you. -Raug says this while his gaze meets mine and he shows me a sweet and gentle smile. But then a concerned look appears and he asks
Are you okay Z?
Don't worry Raug I'm really fine... ( I can't say that I got flustered after that statement it's best if I don't think too much about it anyway.
If you say so I guess it's fine I don't want you to force yourself to speak.
Z I'll tell you about that other thing that I want to ask you on another time...Actually let me ask you another thing... What do you think of me?
Oh shoot I wasn't expecting that at all what should I do?!
CRACK- the door opens and a surprised and tired looking man comes to the balcony he stood there looking at us for a while and then he seems to understand something and leaves hurriedly.
We look to each other and start laughing, but then the butter comes in as well and says
Sorry to interrupt you but Sir people are getting mad at the kings absence.
Well then duty calls when Raug was about to leave he whispered at me I won't forget this matter of ours, soon I'll be asking for your answe... And he left with a satisfied grinn on his face.
Ah! What is he saying all of a sudden I should be going home too, I don't don't understand myself anymore what's wrong with me...
