Chapter 1 | Planning

Taylor's Pov

After agreeing with the girls that we'd meet up later , I gathered all my thoughts and walked home. By the time I made it in , it was time for dinner & my mom and sister were already setting the table.

" Woah , you guys couldn't have waited for me. " I chuckled shaking my head.

" Sorry but food waits for no one ." My mom laughed . "Go wash up ."

I nodded jogging upstairs to take my shower. I only took 10 minutes because I didn't want to keep the fam waiting. I slipped on my pajamas and went downstairs sitting at the table.

" So girls , I was thinking." My mom started as we finished our grace. "How about , we take a little vaca ?"

"Mom , we're still in school. " I looked at her like she was insane. Not that I don't mind skipping a few days but , still.

"I know ." She chuckled. "But I'm talking about for Thanksgiving break."

"That's like ..weeks away." My younger sister whined.

"Look , do you wanna go or not?" My mom chuckled.

"Of course." We nodded at each other.

"Alright well tomorrow , give me some names on where you guys wanna go. But remember , we're balling on a budget." She giggled .

The next morning I woke up to get ready for school. I went in the bathroom to go my hygiene and put on my outfit for school.

I put my hair into a bun and stepped out the house.

"Wait for me ! Wait for me !" Leah screamed coming out the house carrying her books.

"I should've let you missed the bus." I shook my head grabbing her hand as we made our way to the bus stop.

"Janae is here , hold the applause , hold the applause. " She came from up the street waving her hands around.

"Nae!" Leah hugged her as Janae walked up to us.

"Hey Leah !"

"Ugh , how can you love that thing?" I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Guess what Nae ! Guess where we're going!" Leah jumped up and down excitedly.

"Where?"

"Disney Land !"

"For real?" She scrunched her eyebrows at me.

"What ? No . I refuse to go to Florida just so some other George Zimmerman nigga can try to shoot me ? Tuah please." I rolled my eyes. "We're not going to Florida."

"But-"

"But nothing Leah , we have to find some where mom can pay enough for anyways."

"😩 Fine , but if mom says yes then we're going."

The bus pulled up and we all hopped on. Janae and I went to the bak where Kayla & Trudi were while Leah found a seat in the front with Trudi's little brother Daniel.

"So this plans been on my mind since last night." Kayla started."What will I tell my mom & dad?"

She does have a good point. What will we tell our parents?

"I dunno , we'll have to see." I shrugged ."As a matter of fact , we'll meet up for lunch."
