This is dedicated to Jana who gave me part of the idea. I just love her a lot. She's an amazing friend who makes beautiful videos and who always makes me smile just by being herself.

Stay beautiful, Jana

The second Marcus Kane stepped walked out of his room, he knew something was wrong. Even if it was a beautiful day and his hair wasn't as messy as usual, the feeling just wouldn't go away.  His first job, like every morning, was to check up on Abby. As her second-in-command, he had to make sure she was always safe. He knocked on her door. Two hard knocks, like every morning. No response.

He did it again. Still no response. After the third time, he called her name. When she didn't answer, he burst it. Her bed was empty and so was the rest of the room. He called the guards that were supposed to have stayed in front of the rooms, and learned that they had left around 2AM, just for 5 minutes. They hadn't seen Abby leave.

He left the camp, surrounded by Bellamy and Raven who wanted to help. After a 10 minutes walk into the forest, he saw her. She was still in her pajamas, with only her jacket covering her from the cold.

"Abby!" He exclaimed, and as she turned, looking surprised, something fell out of her hands. She bent down to pick it up but he go there first. It was a notebook, and a pen on the ground a few inches away. She tried to take it from him but failed.

"Are you out of your mind?!"

"No,"She answered, unusually calm.

"You must be, because why else would you leave camp in the middle of the night, without telling anyone and without any guards!"

"I found it-"She pointed to the notebook and hesitated," In Mount Weather."

"You went to Mount Weather?! Do you really want to start a war?"

"Nyko was going to die! It was the only way to save him and you would know this if you hadn't left--"

"I left to find Clarke! I left to find your daught--"

"Which I specifically told you not to do!"

"Well you left camp in the middle of the night, without any guards, which I specifically told you not to do so I guess we're even!"

They stared at each other, the anger in their eyes exploding.

"Sorry to interrupt your little rendez-vous,"Raven winked," but we gotta get back."

Marcus mumbled something under his breath which sounded a lot like "Why does she have to be so stubborn?!"

As they were walking back, Bellamy came up to Marcus and whispered "I hope you two realise that you're constantly arguing because you care about each other's safety" and walked away.

Later, while everyone was eating dinner in the "cafeteria", Marcus opened the book that he had taken from Abby.

In it were written a poem:

"His dark eyes set on her,
Filled with passion and love,
As they lower to her lips,
He's waited so long for this kiss.

Her gaze go from his chest,
To his face,
She feels his eyes on her lips,
She's waited so long for this kiss.

To him,
She is the sun,
Her beauty and smile always brightens his day,
She is his energy and his reason to live.

To her,
He is the stars,
The light at the end of the tunnel,
The handsome distraction that helps stop worrying about her life.

When he suddenly leaves,
Her world goes dark,
She understands why he left,
But without him her nights are lonely and sad.

He doesn't want her to worry,
All that matters is that she's happy,
He wants to see her smile again,
He wants to see the fire in her eyes spark back to life.

Both of them don't seem to see,
That the other feels this way,
Both of them are too afraid,
Of what they're family and friends would say,
Maybe one day they will tell,
What their hearts have been dying to explain"

And it isn't until it's really late and he can't fall asleep that he realizes that it's about them.

P.S: I wrote the poem.
