Prologue

"Toni, you have to use more pain," LA said with a stern look. "If you can't use pain then we have to let you go.."

Whenever I didn't get the notes right he threatens me by saying he has to let me go.

By the time Ken started talking, LA left the studio to tend to family issues.

"Um," I started to say. "Why are you calling me baby when you're engaged to Tracey?"
