The aroma that comes off from his natural scent intoxicates Cressa. Her mouth trembles by every breath of air that caresses her face coming off from Josh.
Could this be real? Am I really ready to move on from Kyle? I mean Josh has always been there for me, so sweet and charming with every moment shared together. Why don't I just kiss him then? I mean Kyle deserves better, he deserves a girl who can give him what he needs in all ways I should've. But wait, what was it that Josh told me before? Was this really what Kyle wanted, for us to be separated? For me to endure such heartache. Through all I've already endured, my heart still begs only for one person's loving kiss. I can't betray my heart like that.
She opens her eyes extending out her hands increasing the distance between them.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I can't do this, I'm sorry. It's not right. I mean I want to kiss you, but I can't. I still ---"
Josh bends his head down in crushing disappointment, hoping that this moment would have changed their emotion between them. "You still love Kyle." in a voice as if he could only hear.
"I'm sorry." Josh hearing such words, his heart skips a beat in the most opposite definition.
"Josh---"
He looks up at her realizing that she's been looking at him with deep sadness in her eyes for what has happened.
"I'm sorry, but can you leave?" Tears start to form, but forces them back.
No. No more crying Cressa. Stay strong.
"But---"
"Please, just go..." He takes a heavy sigh slowly rising from his seat next to her. He slowly departs from her side still seeing her head bent down.
"I'm sorry." He says as he rotates the doorknob and leaves.
