Chapter 2

Finally lunch, I'm starving I thought. As I walked into the cafeteria with my lunch I saw Jake with his friends who were making kissey faces at me. I sat at the corner table in hopes of everyone leaving me alone. My day has been hard enough and I haven't even delt with my home life. Ryan sat across from me and asked "where did you get that food from? You didn't have it on the bus."

"The lunch lady is a friend of my moms," I responded.

"Why doesn't your mom make your lunch?"

"What is this 21 questions? And it's complicated."

"Yes and fine. Can you just answer one question truthfully?"

"I have been but what do you want to know?" I ask taking the last bite of my sandwich.

"Why did you give me a pillow and sleep next to me last night?"

Oh, FUCK. So it was real.....okay calm down. It's just a question. Okay now answer it, "you looked uncomfortable and cold. It was my only blanket . Besides, why we're you sleeping on my floor?"

"I can't tell you"

"Why not?"

"I dont......i....I just cant."

"Whatever," I responded annoyed that he wouldn't tell me. I got up threw my trash away then walked out of the cafeteria and to my locker. Ryan followed me all the way there.

I opened my locker, put my homework away in my backpack. Then closed my locker. When I turned around Ryan was right there. He kissed me and I kissed him back. When we finally pulled apart he asked, "Why did you kiss back?"

"I can't tell you." Was my answer. I was smiling. Until I turned around and saw Jake.

"How long have you been cheating on me, Bitch?"

"I wasn't the one who cheated. I loved you. I just met him recently."

"So your just whoring yourself to any takers? Is that why you won't go back with me? Your such a SLUT!!!" He screamed the last word.

I turned right as he was going to hit me. Ryans fists clenched, so I put my hands over his fists and whispered, "He's not worth it" just loud enough for him to hear. I turned around and put Ryans hands on my waist then walked away.

It was just a half day of school. So when I got home there was three hours for me to be alone. I dropped off my stuff and went into the woods. I cried when I saw the old tree house my dad built with Greg and me. But then I got pushed into the tree. Jake told me to go into the tree house so we could talk. I asked if we could talk on the ground . That's when he raped me over and over. An hour felt like days. When he was done he just left. I put my pants back on and sat on a rock.

I heard footsteps and I thought it was Jakes so I started to cry. Someone sat next to me and asked me "Why are you crying beautiful?" I knew then it was Ryan.

"It's complicated."

"I just, can't trust anyone." I responded. "I have to go" I stated then I got up and walked the long way home.

When I got home I had an hour to shower and put makeup on to cover my bruises. By the time I finished that I had five minutes to get outside. My siblings got home on time. We went inside and I started pizza bites for the three of them. I had to use all three microwaves just so they would be done at almost the same time. When I walked into the living room the three of them were arguing about what to watch. The choices were sponge Bob, mighty med, or Jessie. I took the remote and put on pit bull and parolees because we all love dogs. I went back into the kitchen and the pizza bites were done so I grabbed the plates of 12 pizza bites and brought them each a plate. They all said thank you and then focused on the TV.

The door bell rang and as soon as I opened the door my three year old sister sophi hugged my leg. I took my brother from the sitters hands and payed her. "Go sit on the couch and I'll make your snack as soon as I put Daniel in his play pen."

She responded with "kay, kay," Then skipped to the living room.

I put Daniel in his play pen. Then made 6 pizza bites for my sister. I heard a knock on the door. I opened it and saw Ryan "hey, it's really a bad time." Right then the microwave dinged waking up daniel. "Wait there one minute," I said. Then dissappeared into the house.

I gave Sophi her snack then got daniel. Then went back to the door yelling "if you need anything I'm outside."

"Are you babysitting for money or what?"

"I'm babysitting my five siblings till Dave gets here."

"Who's dave?"

"My dads brother, the principle"

Before he could respond we heard a screem and we both ran inside. I unlocked the gun drawer and pointed it at the intruder. Who then backed up and took off his mask, "Babe, please listen to me," Jake begged.

"Greg take your siblings to my room." I commanded handing my Daniel to my brother Greg. He took Sophi by the hand and had the other two follow him to my room. I heard the door shut then I responded, "I'm not your babe, remember? You cheated on me then gang raped me. I would be happy if I never had to see you again."

"I was drunk and the guys talked me into it. Please, I need you."

"How about today were you drunk?"

"No, but......"

"No buts. GET THE FUCK OUT NOW before I shoot you."He hesitated then left. I locked the gun then I fell to the ground. Ryan made me land softly and held me as I had a panic attack. After I calmed down I kissed Ryan to say thank you. Then I went to my room to get my siblings. But before I could someone opened the front door and entered my house. I heard Ryan yell. Then it went black.
