All students gathered in transfigurations. Clockwork sat on her own, already drawing pictures with her quill. When the professor entered she quickly stored the parchment into her book bag. Clockwork kept her eyes glue to the desk. She was never one to make friends easily.
Sally and Hermione took two seats near the front. They had been practising transfiguration last night in their dorm.
Toby looked at his hands, surprised. Why did he have ten fingers? He wondered, Will he ever have 11?
Jeff and Draco sat together staring at the surrounding students. Hoodie and EJ were both waiting for Harry and Ron. Jane and Pansy sat completely across the room from Jeff and Draco. Her icy glare was fierce, but Jeffs smirk was sassy.
Harry and Ron came in late and got scolded by the teacher.
