Harry POV’

“Shit!” I sat on the bank, a little kid approached me.

“I’m so sorry, sir… are you ok?” I looked to that little boy and smiled.

“I’m fine.” He bit his lip.

“But your nose is bleeding and your lip too…” I reach my nose and a red liquid fell to my hand. I was actually bleeding.

“Oh my god! I’m really sorry…” a soft manly voice said, I looked up to meet a pair of blue eyes looking worried at me. “Are you ok? We need to stop the bleeding… it was my fault…” he sat beside me, “Put your head back please!” I did what he told. He put a little piece of cotton in my nose and with his hand he cleaned my lip very softly. He had the most beautiful blue eyes I’ve ever seen. He smiled when he finished the bandage. “There you go.” He had a beautiful smile.

“Thank you!” I smiled back.

“It was my fault!” he laughed. “Are you really ok?” I nodded.

“I am, thanks!”

“I’m Louis!” He reached me his hand.

“Harry!” He smiled once more.

“Very nice to meet you, Harry!” I nodded.

“I’m Luke!” we looked at the little boy. Louis smiled.

“Nice to meet you Luke!” he smiled and I smiled. He gave his hand to me. I took his little soft hand and shook it.

“It’s your son?” Louis looked again to me.

“No…” I smiled.

“He looks just like you!” Louis laughed.

“It could be… but it’s my nephew”

“Oh!” He smiled. He looked to the boy and smiled.

“You two are very similar.” He looked at me.

“Yeah, I guess we are!” He giggled. “We were about to get an ice-cream. Would you like to join us?” I bit my lip. “I have to pay for what I did” I smiled.

“I would love to!” he smiled and the little kid smiled too. We got up and started to walk. Luke was walking in front of us playing with the ball, I looked to Louis and he was smiling looking at the boy. He really liked this kid. He looked at me smiling. I was staring at him, “I’m sorry!” and he laughed. I bit my lip.

“It’s ok!” he smiled.

“You really like him, don’t you?” he nodded.

“Yeah, I really do like him.” I smiled. “My sister died, when she was giving birth…” He bit his lip.

“You don’t have to talk about this.” He smiled softly.

“It’s ok!” He took a deep breath. “And my mom is the legal guardian… But, I am like a father to him, you know?” I nodded.

“I’m sure you would be a great father!” he smiled but didn’t reach his eyes.

“That’s sweet of you. I can’t have children…” his voice broke down. He was truly sad about it.

“So and his father?” he looked at me and he smiled softly for my subject change.

“He died in Vietnam.”

“He was in the army?”

“Yeah, truly hero.” I smiled. “My sister really loved him; I guess that’s why she didn’t survive…” I smiled. We finally arrived at the ice-cream shop. We walked until the end of the luncheonette and me and Luke sat on the chair. “I’ll go get us some ice-cream. Be right back!” we smiled. Luke had his arms on the table and his head on top of his hands and he was looking at me. I smiled.

“Something wrong?” I asked. He cocked his head to one side.

“No.” very direct.

“So why are you looking at me like this?” I giggled. He was funny.

“I like you!” I smiled.

“Thank you, kid. I like you too, I guess…!” he giggled.

“I guess Tommo likes you too.” I furrowed my eyebrows. “My uncle.” He clarified.

“You think?” he nodded, “How old are you?”

“6” he smiled very proudly, “My uncle likes boys” I shock and laughed.

“He does?” he nodded. “How do you know?”

“Because he had a boyfriend.” I nodded once. “But then they broke up. My uncle broke up actually, I didn’t like him very much…” I smiled softly. “But I like you!”

“You are a clever little boy aren’t you?” he shook his shoulders and smiled very proudly of himself.

“I’m the best student in my class.”

“Are you?” he nodded, “Well, congratulations.” He smiled. I laughed. Louis placed the ice-creams on the table. I looked at him. He smiled. “Thank you!” He sat beside me. He was quite beautiful. Blue eyes and brown hair and the undone beard, his jaw line and the soft hands, the tan skin.

“You’re staring at me again.” I blushed.

“I’m sorry!” He laughed. I looked at my ice-cream.

“What were you talking about?” I looked to Luke.

“I told Harry you like boys!” Louis choked with ice cream and stared in shock at his nephew. I hit him in the back with my hand; he grabbed my arm for me to stop.

“I’m good thanks!” he cleaned his mouth. “Why the hell did you do that?” Luke looked at Louis.

“I’m sorry!” the little boy bit his lip and looked to his hands. Louis sighed.

“I’m sorry, sweetie” Luke looked again and smiled. Louis looked at me red as a tomato. “I’m sorry you had to hear that…”

“It’s ok, Louis!” I smiled, “Really ok!” he smiled and nodded. “Why are you offering ice-cream and talking to me?”

“Because I hurted you and you seem a really cool lad” I giggled and looked at Luke, he smile and his lips moved.

“I told you!” I bit my lip. I looked at my watch.

“I have to go!” I scratched my head. He got up from the chair. “I have work!”

“Oh!” he sounded disappointed. I smiled and looked to Luke and he smiled. I love this kid.

“I can give you my number if you want to.” He smiled and I swear that his eyes sparkled at my words. I wrote my number in a piece of paper and gave it to him. “It was truly a pleasure.” He blushed and I smiled. He hugged me. I shivered at the touch. He stepped back. I messed with Luke’s hair and he smiled. “Nice to meet you, kid!”

“Bye Harry!” he hugged my legs.

“Call me!” Louis nodded and smiled. I went off the ice-cream shop. I looked back once more and he was looking through the glass. I smiled and waved. I hope he returns that call.
