The fact the Megalodon had such a massive bite force shocked me. If I haven't told you yet, (which I probably haven't.) is a prehistorical scientist and studies animals from the past. Right now she is missing. She was reported last in the Cenozoic Era, where the Megalodon thrives.
"Is mom eaten already?" I ask my dad, who is the only person who knows.
"No." he says in a straight and direct tone.
"She's still alive, she is still in the Cenozoic Era. A few days ago, she video phoned me and told me she has made camp up on shore where she can survive and stay away from the Megalodon. She also said it's better to stay on land since fish are more dangerous than the land creatures there." he tells thinking he could get my hopes up. I hop out of the room and go look for some dinner for tonight. I feel a hand on my shoulder, stopping my movements.
"Dinner's on the table, if you wanted to know. I'm eating later." he told me. I ate my dinner slowly. It was only 9:00 and I was already tired. I decided to get some shuteye early.
The Next Morning
"Good Marnin' " I said to myself, as I got out of bed. I open the kitchen cabinet, to see nothing in there.
"Dad!!" I yell through the house. My voice echoed through the house like resonating chamber. Empty silence. I search through the house to see if my dad. I run out to the back to see nobody there.
"Oh ma gosh." I thought aloud. He left. I sprinted to the front porch and hollered for my dad, until I couldn't yell anymore. I decided to go exploring in the wilderness. I had packed food, a sword and sheath, and a pistol.
"Hello? Is anyone out here?" I talk into the forest with a broad voice. I listened to see if anyone was out there. My reply was: ROOOAAAAAR! I relax, glad to get a reply, when I realize that it wasn't friendly. I sprint as fast as I can to become, face to face with a Dilophosaurus.
"Holy s***!" I exclaim as I run away from the 10 foot carnivore. I climb up a tree before it noticed me. It ran towards me as I was still climbing. I rested a bit while I had the time. In a few hours, I woke up to see the dinosaur ramming the tree. I, apparently looked like a very tasty snack to some animals. I took out my sword from it's sheath and used it as a threat while climbing down the tree.
"RUNNNN!" I yell as I move swiftly to the house. I take a shovel from the back shed and start digging a trench. The Dilopho was still on my tail. I dug like a bull dozer. The dinosaur saw the trench, backed away, and ran. I kept doing the trench till dark. The ront and half of the back was finished. I decided to get some shuteye, when I heard the portal. The exact portal I came in.
"What was that?" I asked myself. I pluck a torch off the wall and go outside to see........... DAD!!!
"What are you doing here? You went missing today?!?!?" ?I exclaimed in an angry and grateful tone.
"Cool it." my dad said in a relaxing voice.
"I went home to get some real food." he shows me 2 plates of steak, mashed potatoes, and a jug of apple juice. My favorite.
The next day
I ran through the rough underbrush trying to look for nutrtious foods and found some gingko trees. I shimmy up the trees picking fruit in my pack. I run home see everything clean and shiny.
"Dad! I got some food!" my face cringed as I inhaled the smell.
"Kay'!" my dad yells back from the yard. I walk out to the back and see hime making a drawbridge. I decided to go exploring since it was exciting. I pack some snacks and a knife. I went to go look at the Parasaurolophuses near our house. I fed them and saw a baby. It followed me home. I fed and played with it.
"Bye Perry!" I say to the baby as I return it to the herd. I turn and run home. I sat on the couch and felt something poke my butt. It was...........the couch. ( Were you scared it might have been something else? "Matt, don't scare them like that!?!?") I pick up the Coleophysis. Wait what!? I drop the dinosaur and lure it away from the house.
"Uhhhhh, where am I?" I groaned as I woke up from being exhausted. I found myself alone in a gingko tree with my stuff. I scanned the area for our house or any signs of home.
"Nothing." I sigh. I climb down the tree and start searching for the house and a few hours later, and found the house empty.
"He must've left." I scold myself. I look for signs of settlement in the forest if he had made a new house. I scan my surroundings and see a pair of eyes. It came out, or should I say they came out. Hundreds of snakes thrived in the bushes.
"Nice, snakes..." I say in a soft tone as I back away. They slither closer, hissing louder and louder.
"Hissssssssss." as if they're talking. Then they struck.
