"How do you think the world will end?"
It's a simple question, just with a complex answer.
To most people it is a simple answer like fire, or water.
However, when a fifteen year old kid wakes up one morning to find all of her family gone, she starts to think.
Think that maybe those rumors from when she was small weren't just rumors. When the kids in her classes would talk about secret government projects, a new vaccination that every adult was required to take, slow and painful deaths of any and everything they loved the most.
That's how Clea Renwood ended up walking down the road, with her father's old hunting knife tied by a rope around her hip, and a signature grey hat to block the sun.
Clea isn't the smartest girl in the world, not knowing what harmful things could be waiting the farther she ventured out into the unknown. So far she has only encountered rabid animals, quickly putting them out of their misery.
It was times like this, when she was alone, where she'd actually start to miss her family. She remembers waking up one night about three weeks ago, to find her mother and father gone.
~three weeks ago~
"Mom? Dad?" Clea called out, slowly moving down the stairs.
She walked to the corner of the wall, quietly peaking around. When seeing nothing she went into the living room. She traced her fingers over the framed pictures about the fire place. Clea can't remember the last time her family was so happy. Suddenly, a thought occurred to her.
"Bane?!" Clea screamed out, searching her house for her younger brother.
Clea ran quickly back up the stairs, busting into her brother's room.
"Clea....." She heard her brother whisper.
She walked over to him, pulling him into a hug. "Bane, I was so scared....I thought you were gone too."
"I won't leave you. I promise." Bane said.

Clea really wished she had believed the eleven year old. She wished he could've stayed. She hates rabid animals. Hates them so much. They took Bane away from her. Now, she's on a mission.
A mission to find her parents before the end.
The end of the world.
