The night was all silent besides of course the occasional meow from a nearby alley cat or the burr of a pigeon. The sun had set and the moon was at it's highest, shining down on the tops of the buildings.

Catching the most light was the steaple of the church I stood upon, looking down upon the city for any criminal activity.

There hasn't been much action for the past few days which is good but like I said not much action.

Screams come from an alleyway, a block from where I stood. A smile creeps onto my face as I jump from the white building.

It was of course a woman's voice screaming I'm guessing a robbery or just being jumped.

I find the woman being cornered by two men wearing all black and holding knives.

I kick the street lamp on the way down then land covering my face in the pure darkness.

"I suggest you leave now before things get a bit ugly." I stand looking at the men who are now turned around.

They begin to laugh, I pull out my staff and hold it ready for battle as they come running toward me with the knives.

I smirk and dodge them swinging their knives. I knock them down and tie up their limbs with an extremely strong rope and begin walking towards the woman.

"Are you okay?" I ask as she calms down a bit but looks up then begins screaming again.

"OW! Whoa okay that hurt!" I yell covering my ears from her blood curtling scream.

She continues to scream while looking up then books it right past me.

"Wow. That girl can run in heels." I shake my head one last time before hearing a strange sound coming from above.

A large ball of fire fell from the sky, a metorite, a piece of a spaceship, I have no idea.

I look a bit harder at the falling fireball and see something that stopped my heart.

A girl.

She looked unconscious and unstable and reaching earth at an enourmously fast pace. A few seconds went by and she plummeted to earth sending shockwaves through the air.

I reacted at a quick pace by jumping from rooftop to rooftop. Trying to find my way to her was easy considering there was a large indent in the road.

I jump down before the strange woman who now stands with cuffs and holds green blasts of light as her eyes are the same color.

Her flaming red colored hair blew in the small night's breeze beside her making it all more harder to keep a serious face.

"Gota!" She yells and steps a bit closer.
"Whoa listen-"

"Gota!" She limps this time. "Gota onca!" She steps this time.

"look I'm not going to hurt you." I pull out a small lock picker and step closer to her holding the cuffs.

She died down her blasters in her hands and just stared at me. I finished picking the lock and the cuffs drop fast to the ground. I quickly move my foot trying not to get hit by the heavy cuffs.

She rubs her wrists and I look at her with complete amazement.

"There now maybe we could be fr-"

She cuts me off by pulling me in closer to her by my neck and kisses me for a few seconds.

She soon releases the pushes me down by my shoulder and I land hard.

"If you want to live I suggest you stay out of my way!" She blasts off into the sky but, before she got too far I threw a steel rope around her ankle then she stopped mid air seeing as her foot is entagnled.

I pull down and she comes bolting to the ground at full speed. Just like before she hits the ground and stays in the rubble for a about a minute.

I walk up to her as she quickly takes off her helmet that framed the top of her face.

"Do you know who I am earth bearer?" She stands once again limping towards me.

"You haven't given me a chance to ask." I answer her as she stops and looks at me, knowing i'm right.

"In your language I would be known as Starfire, I am the princess of Tameran."

"Well, hello StarFire, I am Robin, not a prince of anything just a humble hero."

"Robin. Are you what you call a bird?" She asks with bits of confusion scattered around her face.

"No-"

"Wait. What am I doing, I should not be socializing with an Earth bearer." StarFire quickly blasts off the ground once again.

"Well, I guess she's not my problem anymore." I sigh and continue walking my way home. I look up in the sky to see a light green light falling behind where she goes.

I guess she isn't completely gone.

I finally got home and right as I turned the light on there she stood, right on my balcony looking back at me.

"Robin. I am in need of your help."
