"Good." She smirks and grabs my arm tight.
"Hey! What're yo-"
"Hold on!" She yells and bends her knees to jump.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!" I exclaim as she jumps off to our doom.
I open my eyes seeing as we're successfully flying through the air I hold on to her hand even tighter.
But soon after my hand became sweaty and hard to hold on to her.
"Uh.." I look up to see her looking right ahead. The moon light shone on her face so elegantly, so beautifully.
My attention quickly grew back to my slipping hand; at this point I was just holding onto fingers. I was suprised she didn't feel it or react to it in anyway.
Before any reactions came to mind I found myself falling and yelling on the way down.
The ground was speeding towards me and feet became inches in just seconds.
Suddenly the ground stopped. I get pulled up to reach the eyes of the princess.
There just staring at me like beautiful stars. She smiles a bit as we continue to fly upward.
"Are you the okay?" She asks.
"huh..? Uh, Yeah I - I'm okay."
"Good, shall we continue?" I nod slightly and this time she keeps me with her, by her side as we flew.
She gave me a bubble, of sorts and just locked her fingers into mine making it so I could breathe and stay alive through space.
I'm not going to lie, she's stunning. Her voice is beautiful and her fiery red hair compliments her witch green eyes. she's, well... perfect.
My thoughts become interrupted by her voice.
"Robin, I think it's very flatter of what you think of me and if I haven't told you yet... I can hear what you're thinking."
My entire face goes red as I quickly look away and hear a slight giggle come out of her.
"Now listen Robin, in order to make it to my planet in time we need to travel at my space speed." She looks at me.
"Okay, and how fast is that?" I ask.
"let us just say you might lose a boot."
"Wait you said a head earlier." I reply.
"That could happen too." She stops moving and looks at me deeply.
"Are you ready?" She asks. I take a deep breath and let it out into a sigh.
"Yeah, I'm ready." I nod and she holds my hand tight. The next thing I feel is my whole body go numb like I'm jell-o. Next my head begins throbbing and my sight becomes not a thing anymore.
Everything quickly stops a few minutes later and my body thrusts forward. I land on the hot ground coughing and choking on the rising dust.
"My throat." I cough through my words.
"Yes, I know. The dense air and steaming hot geysers on this side of the planet are sure to make your head spin." She steps on loose rock and slips.
I quickly catch up to her and pull her beside me. She lays her head on my lap coughing from inhaling toxic gas.
"I got you, you okay?" I ask. She looks up at me and stares.
"StarFire, was it?" I ask once again. She nods and smiles.
"There it is." I smile back. She blushes a bit then the ground begins to rumble.
"W-what's that!" I yell over the loud crackling noises coming from beneath us.
"This is what I sensed... my world, it's ending." She looked down with extreme sorrow in her eyes.
A tear rolled down her cheek and my heart nearly stopped. I quickly lifted her chin and wiped away the glistening tear from her perfect skin.
"No need to cry, all we need to do is find the source of this action and stop it."
She sniffs a bit then stands from my clinging grasp and points to an ominous glow on the horizon.
I stand with her and see a large city with flying obstacles like cars.
"Whoa, is that-"
"My home."she interrupts me walking toward the city.
"W-wait up!" I stumble my way after the princess getting nearly stuck in places, and floating in others.
I've landed on an alien planet with an alien princess, what a great way to start off the week.
