~~PG's POV~~

It's been a few weeks since the incident with Marshall, and I haven't seen him since. I've been trying to figure out what had happened exactly, but it was all just so fast for me. He seemed so scared, and I just didn't know how to help him. No one's complained about him messing with the kingdom, so that's made me even more worried. I've begun to grow more worried about him. I tried visiting him once, but he never answered. I hope he's okay.

I sighed, laying back on my bed. I kept thinking about asking the candy citizens and Fiona if they've seen him, but then people may think that I want him to come back to his normal ways. Which, frankly, I do deep down. Not because I want him to torture my citizens, but instead because, well, it's not the same without him showing up and messing with us.

"Glob, what am I thinking? He's probably upset because of what happened." I mumbled. I sat in silence for a few more minutes. I stood and sighed. 'Guess it won't hurt to visit him again.' I pulled on a pink sweater and my shoes, walking out of the castle and to Marshall's house. I took a flashlight in case it got too dark for me to see. It was a fairly long walk to his house, but I managed to reach it in about 6-8 minutes.

I knocked on his door a few times, then waited for an answer. Nothing. I knocked again. Still Nothing. I sighed, turning around and looking out of the 'cave'.  It was completely silent here. 'How does Marshall stand this?' I thought, getting a bit uneasy from the silence. I turned back to his door.

"Marshall? Are you in there?" I asked, hoping for a reply. I heard something fall, causing me to jump. There was another silence, but I finally heard the door unlocked. I smiled a bit, opening the door and slowly walking in. I saw Marshall sitting in a corner, shaking slightly. My smile faltered. I walked over to him and sat next to him. His body tensed a bit.

"Marshall. What's wrong." I asked, earning no reply from the other. His shaking was getting worse. I didn't know what to do. I sighed, pulling Marshall into a hug. His shaking slowed a bit, but he still didn't move. We sat there for a minute, before he hesitantly wrapped his arms around me. I smiled, laying my head on his shoulder. Marshall buried his face in my sweater, obviously trying to stay away from my 'skin'.

I pulled back, giving him a small smile. He looked down. I frowned. 'Why is he so depressed. That incident shouldn't have hit him this hard...' I thought, gently lifting his head. I had my small smile back, watching his face shift to a calmer expression. His eyes moved to the marks. I didn't move, curious as to what he was doing. He raised his hand, placing it on the marks. I flinched slightly, but soon relaxed.

"Want me to stay over for the night?" I asked. He nodded softly. I pulled him into another tight hug, rubbing his back. He rested his head in the crook of my neck this time, his forehead on the bite marks.

~~A/N~~

Sorry for the lateness!! School's being a butt with homework. My teachers have also sent out their 10 day warning for a strike, so that's bad. They'll take off part of our holidays or breaks if they do go on strike... So, if that happens, I may not be on for a while. However, enjoy this part, even though it's pretty short. See y'all later!!!
