As she watched you walk away,
all her color drained...
her words disappearedHer chest hurt...
body limp and
eyes stinging.
Her words were gone.
She said "I love you"
but you stole them,
and spoke them to another. She whispers,
afraid now.
Afraid for her voice,
for her soul.Because that day,
she watched you walk away
and simply whispered
"Good bye"
