Chris POV (surprise!)

She has the most intoxicating smell I've ever known. I have no clue what attracts me to her. Her blonde hair? Her bright blue eyes? Her fiery personality? I've had a taste of her attitude and I can honestly say I was surprised. No one has ever talked to me like that before. Not even Tyler my Beta, he wouldn't dare to.

In the middle of our standoff I had to get out of that room. We had intruders and for some reason I have a feeling it is because of our new addition to the territory. Tyler linked me and mentioned something about trouble but I had blown it off so I could focus on Nora. It seems like I am not the only one wanting Nora, the Rogue King Troy seems to want her as well. He wants her enough to kill to get her. 

* Flashback *
"Father! Tell me what she is! What is going on why isn't she waking up?! It's been a week! She is completely healed so she should wake up!" I yelled to my father. He was getting angry with me I knew it from the way he rubbed his temples.

It had been a whole week since I picked that poor girl up from the meadow, she had blood on her clothes and an injury on her ankle as if she had been clawed by something trying to pull her underground. I had been asking the same question for half of that week. He always replies with the same answer.

"We must wait till she wakes up. I will have Doctor Lucy come and take another checkup today in the girl. But till then you must be patient and wait. There is nothing I can do to wake her up. Now leave me be! I've got a company and pack to run till you take over soon!" He demands as he pushes me out of the door.

"Grr" I growl furiously. "I just want answers," I think to myself.

* Flashback End *

There was no telling what she could do and why she smelled so delectable to everyone. I even noticed Tyler was having difficulty earlier when he tackled her. The only question I had was why Troy wanted her? She couldn't be his mate right? She doesn't seem like the type to give up control to such an asshole alpha, no less a rogue one at that. 

I needed to get Troy off my land and then we would begin the research, try and find anything out about her. I have a bad feeling about this and I feel like we are about to get into a war with the entirety of the world. We will just have to see.
