Praying over a century

The man started to lose faith

He felt the death drawing near

It was time to drown in his wraith

He left the temple with despair

And went deep to the old forest

He wanted to die in that place

Thinking of her as the cruelest

He watered the path with his tears

Of unforgotten tragedy

He wished he could at least suffer

Her catastrophic remedy

Sun was setting when he arrived

Night had come to take him away

He sat there with the jasmine bud

It was the end of his long way
