They finally put the paperwork through to transfer me over, which made me very happy and excited. My new cellmate was a total bitch but I was not going to ruin this chance. After what happened in the last case, sleep was a blessing. Past memories would jolt me awake and keep me from getting a full nights sleep. However, an hour or two here and there was more than enough to get me to the next day.

The prison had called Erica and I both up for some sort of grief counseling but neither of us took the bait. Who knows what could happen if someone got hold of those files. Ship would hit the fan, that's what would happen.

I didn't talk much less lee Erica around the prison, which was alright with me. I was just gitty with the change in scenery.

It was a good week before they yanked us out of the prison cells to work on our next case. The office was still, quiet. It stung a little, knowing that Charlie wouldn't walk in and start laying out the case for us. I couldn't imagine what the others were feeling.

Ray was sitting on Julianne's desk talking to a suit. The suit was an average looking man short graying hair, large glasses, intelligent looking. Once Ray noticed us walking in he switched conversations.

"Alright, we're back to work." Ray said crossing the room to us. "Not how we wanted it obviously but we're back." Julianne handed us all a file of the runners bio and details of the escape. Shea was the first to point out the suit.

"Who's he?" He asked. I couldn't help a slight smile, which didn't go unnoticed by Lloyd, on how people could just know who this man was.

"Part of Marshals policy, when a deputy is killed each member of his unit must do one session of grief counseling. Apparently you guys refused to do it at Maybell." I walked over and pulled a chair over to where Julianne was standing, giving her a weary smile.

"We're not telling a prison counselor about the cops we work with. Ok we get it, it's confidential but it gets on file, anyone can get their hands on it." Shea pointed out.

"Ok, well I got to sign a paper that says you got  a counseling." Ray said. "It's a liability thing."

"Then sign it." Erica snapped.

"I just got my badge back, I'm not lying on a federal document."

"That wasn't the deal when I signed up, that I'd have to make myself available to therapy." Shea said. "I dion't need it, I don't want it. I ain't talkin' to no-"

"Why don't you let Lloyd do it then." I cut Shea off before his mouth got everyone in trouble. Heads turned to me to continue. "He's a Doctor, it wont be put down on paper and you'll be able to sign your paper." I bit my lip as Ray considered this, he looked at Lloyd.

"Oh no no no, counseling coworkers may be considered a conflict of interest." Lloyd said picking at the file.

"By who?" I scoffed.

"By me." He said. I laughed at this.

"I don't care, you're doin' it." Ray said. "ok?" He walked over to the suit. "Doc. We're gonna keep this in house."

"It's my understanding Doctor Lowery is no longer a Doctor." The suit said pointing at Lloyd, Lloyd pointed back at him jokingly.

"Look, they took away his licence, not what he learned." Ray told the suit. "Ok? This is tough for all of us. Just looking to bend the rules, not break them." Ray went back to talking with us. "I know this is hard for all of us, but Charlie would have wanted us to take care of business, and that's what we're gonna do." The suit then stood and left the office, knowing that he wasn't going to help any further. "So unless anyone has anything else to say, let's get to it. I need everybodys A-Game." Ray turned to the window and began. "Two convicts tunneled out of a maximum security prison in upstate New York." Ray had turned to look at Erica who hadn't been listening at all, she just stared at the floor as if she were about to set it on fire. "Erica." This got her attention. She unfolded her arms and flopped them on her thighs.
