Friends forever and always

The story

Lucy POV
Well where do I start? Well first my name is Lucy and my best friend is Rose. I loved nature but after a scary experience I never want to go into my backyard again. Every thing has changed since Rose and I moved from the small state of Delaware to Florida. We don't see snow and it's so hot. We when into our woods and well, you can read the story. Well the start is when we went into the woods.

Third POV
Once upon a time, we'll not really. This is not a once upon a time kind of story it's more of a mystery. So one day two best friends were playing hide and seek and it was Lucy's turn to hide. They were playing the game outside by the woods. This is how our story begins.

Rose's POV
"Ready or not here I come." I said to my best friend Lucy." Hummm where are you hiding because I will find you. When we're done can we play something else please? Lucy? Lucy!? Where are you?" What am I thinking she isn't just going to give herself away in hide and seek. I walked around for a while but I couldn't find her. I was getting a little worried that I would never find her ever again. Then she jumped on top of me and said " You don't have to yell." I was so happy to find her.

Lucy's POV
It was so funny when I jumped on Rose. She screamed like a little girl. I couldn't help but laugh. "You screamed like a little girl." "No I did not."" Yes you did." (Laughing hysterically and crying.) She was so angry at me but I knew she would forgive me. "Stop scaring me like that you know I don't like it." She said to me but again I didn't care. Even though I really should have because if I had known that we would be separated I would have been a better friend. I was looking around when I saw a little tail in the woods. I started to walk to it when Rose stopped me. " What are you doing? We don't know what is in there!" She said. " But it's something new and we love to discover new things." I told her. I love adventure but I forgot that Rose doesn't.

Rose's POV
Why she said that we love to discover new things? I really don't know. " What do you mean. I don't like to discover new things like you do." I said but before I knew it she was running into the woods. I tried to yell but it didn't help at all. " What are you doing!" Why can't she ever just listen to me. Every day I try to like nature but I just can't.
