Destined to Be (Human Warrior Cats)

Chapter 4

Silverpaw
I ran out of Jayfeather's den when Squrrielflight called for me. "We are going hunting with Molewhisker, Adderpaw, Cherrytail, and Sparkpaw." She said "Ok." I said excitedly, we met up at the thorn tunnel and we went to the training hollow. We sat in a line and in front of our mentors "Ok show us your hunting crouch." Squrrielflight said Adderpaw and Sparkpaw crouched with their hind legs tense ready to jump. I copied them the best I could but I don't think that it was right because I fell over. I tried over and over again but I keep falling, I let out a growl of frustration then Squrrielflight came over. "Like this." She said hunkering down with her paws tucked, I tried it and she tucked my paws in tighter "Now see that leaf?" Squrrielflight asked pointing it it with her tail, I nodded "Pretend that it is a vole." She said I looked at the leaf and jumped I at it but I jumped too far. "Wow, you are really good at jumping!" Adderpaw meowed "Yes you are." Squrrielflight meowed proudly (Firestar and Sandstorm comes out of nowhere) "Yes, you have the same abilities of a SkyClan cat." Firestar meowed we all whip around and see Firestar and Sandstorm walking  out of the bracken. "I do?!" I asked, "Do you even know who SkyClan is?" Sandstorm ask, "Yes." I said nodding "How do you know?" Firestar asked "I read it in a book called Warriors Firestar's Quest." (If you have not read Firestar's Quest do not read what Silverpaw says I will say when you can read again!!!)I said "What happened then?" Sandstorm asked "Firestar had a dream about the SkyClan cats running away from something and he tried to get to them but he couldn't. Then he was walking through the woods and he saw one of his patrols attacking his old friend Smuge, he told them to continue the patrol and he talked to Smuge. Smuge was having the same dream as him and Firestar stayed the night in his friends twoleg garden. Firestar had a dream and the old SkyClan leader, Cloudstar talked to him and told him what he wanted Firestar to do. Then Firestar told Graystripe, Cinderpelt, and you (tail pointing at Sandstorm) that he was going to take a journey to find the SkyClan cats with Sandstorm. They made most of the journey and then their was a flash flood and Sandstorm got swept away, Firestar almost starved himself trying to find her, hoping that she was alive. They found were SkyClan made their new camp and also found a cat named Sky. He told them about the SkyClan camp and were everything was, Firestar and Sandstorm then rebuilt SkyClan and traveled home." Silverpaw meowed (Ok you can read now.) I looked at all of the cats and they had their jaws wide open "What?!" I asked "H-h-how d-did you n-now all of th-that?" Firestar and Sandstorm asked in unison "I read a book and I have all of them and I could bring them in." I said "You almost died?!" Squrrielflight asked "Well yes, but both of us almost died." Firestar meowed, "Well we just got into a fight and I wasn't trying to find him." Sandstorm meowed "You can get all of your books tomorrow at dawn so you can show me." Firestar meowed "But I want you to take someone with you." He added, "Ok." I meowed "I will teach you some fighting moves so you can defend yourself if you need to." Squrrielflight meowed and with that I started to learn some fighting moves.

Skip to a little past sunhigh
"No like this you want to make the other cat think that you are going to swipe at their head and when they duck you swing lower with your other paw." Squrrielflight said, I did as she said and this time I did it right "Yes, I finally did it right!" I meowed excitedly Squrrielflight looked up, "We should start heading back." Squrrielflight meowed looking up at the sky, so we headed back. I stopped, I smelled mouse, "Slverpa..." Squrrielflight started to say "shhh, I smell mouse." I said she smelled the air and nodded. "Keep your footsteps light because mice can sense the vibrations in the ground before you get too far." Squrrielflight whispered, I nodded and I snuck up to the mouse, a twig snapped under my paw and the mouse heard it and it started to run away I leaped at it and I landed on it, I bit the back of its neck killing it. "Good job Silverpaw, that mouse was several fox lengths away!" Squrrielflight meowed trotting up to me, I grabbed my mouse and we headed back to camp. I put my mouse down, "Should I go see if anyone wants this?" I asked Squrrielflight nodded and I walked over to Jayfeather's den with my mouse in my jaws. I saw a cat door on the door and I walked threw it, "Jayfeather!" I called, "Yes?!" Jayfeather called back, "I have a mouse for you!" I said I heard footsteps and I saw Jayfeather walking around the corner then. "Thanks." He meowed turning into cat form, "I was wondering if you would want to come with me to get somethings out of my house?" I asked "Sure." He said after a while "Ok thanks." I meowed and started to go and get myself some food. "D-do you want to share?" Jayfeather asked, "Sure." I said, turning back around I sat next to Jayfeather and shared my mouse with him. "What's going on in here?" Someone asked. I look up and I see the orange tom that brought me to camp. "I am sharing her mouse with her mouse-brain what does it look like." Jayfeather stated flatly, "You like her don't you?" The tom asked "Lionblaze shut up I do not." Jayfeather meowed "You do!" Lionblaze teased "I do not!" Jayfeather growled, and this went on for a while and I couldn't help but burst into laughter. Both toms stopped fighting and and looked at me, "What's so funny?" Jayfeather asked, "You two fighting." I said in between breaths. "What is going on in here?" Leafpool asked. "Jayfeather likes Silverpaw!" Lionblaze yowled, "I do not!" Jayfeather meowed angrily, "You do?!" Leafpool asked. "No I don't!" Jayfeather ran out of his den and into the forest and I ran after him. I find him laying down of the lake and I walk up to him and realize that he was sleeping with a stick in front of him. "That must be his stick!" I thought I laid down next to Jayfeather and touched the claw marks on the stick and then I was standing in the mountains. I looked around and saw Jayfeather walking away, "Jayfeather wait up!" I called as I ran after him, Jayfeather wiped around and saw me running towards him. "How do you know my Clan name Half Moon." Jayfeather asked "What are you talking about, I'm Silverpaw not Halfmoon?!" I meowed surprised. Jayfeather's eye widened "Are going to make fun of me now too because I am sleeping with a stick?" Jayfeather asked, "No, why would I do that, the stick is part of your past? And besides I would be making fun of my self too because I am sleeping with the stick too." I meowed, "Thanks, and here my name is Jay's Wing and you are Half Moon." Jay's Wing said, my eyes widened "If I am Half Moon then Jayfeather, I mean Jay's Wing does like me!" I thought almost jumping with joy. "Why are so happy?" Jay's Wing asked, "You like me don't you?" I asked "Ugg, I came here in the first place so Lionblaze would stop teasing me and then you come and start teasing me!" Jay's Wing growled "And no I do no like you." He added, "So you don't like Half Moon?" I asked, "Yes, of course I love her!" Jay's Wing exclaimed "So you don't just like me you LOVE me!" I meowed, Jay's Wing's eyes widened when he realized that I had just tricked him. "Fine I like you." Jay's Wing said in defeat, "Don't worry I won't tell anyone." I meowed "Thanks." He answered, then scratches started appearing on Jay's Wing's body. "We have to go back." He hissed I nodded and I woke up, I looked at Jayfeather and he woke up, I looked at his attacker, he was black and smelled of wind and heather, he must be from WindClan I thought. "Breezepelt what are you doing!" Jayfeather growled and I growled too. I looked at Jayfeather and he nodded and I leaped at Breezepelt, he tried to back away but I misjudged the jump and landed right on top of him. I dug my claws into his back making him yowl in pain, he stood on his hind legs and tried to fall on top of me but I was to quick. He fell over and I pined him down pummeled his soft belly fur again making him yowl, I got off of him and looked at Jayfeather who was behind me and his eyes widened. "Look out!" Jayfeather yowled but it was to late and Breezepelt was already on top of me. He dug his claws in my pelt and started raking his claws down my back making me yowl in pain. I stood up the best I could with Breezepelt on my back an pushed my hind legs up sending him flying over my head. Jayfeather and I ran, I looked behind us and saw Breezepelt chasing us and caching up fast, "Help!" I yowled, "Why are you yowling everyone is in the camp, no one is going to hear you!" Jayfeather meowed breathlessly "Don't play dumb with me I know about your powers, Dovewing will hear me!" I growled

Back In camp Dovewing's pov.
I was about to get a mouse to share with Blackear when I hear a cat yowling for help from the lake I extended my senses and saw Jayfeather and Silverpaw running away from Breezepelt and another cat that looked like a shadow. I looked around camp and saw Lionblaze talking to Blackear and Ivypool. I ran over to them, "Jayfeather and Silverpaw are being chased by Breezepelt and another cat that looks like a shadow." I meowed, "Where?" Lionblaze asked jumping to his feet. "By the lake." I said, Lionblaze ran out of the thorn tunnel with Blackear, Ivypool, and I following closely behind him.

Back to Silverpaw
We were going to have to fight Breezepelt because he was gaining fast and we were slowing down because we were getting tired. Then I look into the woods and I see Lionblaze burst out of the forest closely followed by a orange tom with black ears, a she-cat that may be Ivepool, and Dovewing. "I told you that she would hear me." I whispered to Jayfeather in between breaths, Lionblaze and Ivypool leaped at Breezepelt and Dovewing and the other tom leaped at another cat that looks like a shadow. "Blackear lookout!" Dovewing yowled, Blackear ducked and leaped at the shadowy cat. I looked more closely at the cat and realized that his tail was kinked, Brokenstar! I leaped at Brokenstar, he was going to pay for what he did to those kits. "Oh look a kit has come over to try and fight me." Brokenstar growled smirking, I new what he was trying to do, he was trying to make me attack him blindly out of anger. "I'm not a kit." I stated, "Oh really, you look like a kit to me and I am sure that you know what I do to kits." Brokenstar growled showing his teeth. I leaped at Brokenstar but not in anger but he thought that was the reason I leaped at him, he stepped aside and I turned in his direction, Lionblaze came over and helped me fight Brokenstar and Blackear and Dovewing chased Breezepelt back into WindClan territory. Brokenstar finally went back to the Dark Forest and we (2000 words!! :) walked back to camp. Once we got back to camp I walked into Jayfeather's den to get my wounds checked and get some herbs on them. I was the last one and I was so tired that I could fall a sleep on my paws "I can treat your wounds if you like." I meowed after he was done with my wounds "But aren't you tired?" Jayfeather asked yawning "Yes, but so are you and it would be easier if I did it." I meowed, (writing this part is making me yawn! All thought it is 8:43pm where I am right now :o ) I started to clean his pelt before I put the herbs on on his wounds, after I was done I looked at the leaves that he had laid out on the floor "Aren't you going to tell me what to use?" I asked "No just make sure you put all of the herbs on every scratch." Jayfeather yawned, I nodded and put all of the herbs on his scratches. "I am going to my nest." I yawned (it is now 9:33am the next day and this I still making me yawn) although I didn't think that I would even make it out of Jayfeather's den, "You can sleep in one of nest that is for sick or injured cats." Jayfeather called getting into his own bed, I nodded and laid down on one of the beds and fell asleep  instantly.
