WARNING: Romance? I think... Kinda-sorta.

---

I watched as the girl screamed in pain. Long raven tresses and pristine pale skin.

Covered in blood.

What a turn on.

Such a nice view on the first day of a new job.

She was strapped to the white table, men and women in white coats with scalpels and syringes surrounding her. One woman, her caretaker, held her hand, whispering sweet nothings to calm the naked girl down. I glanced at the clip board on the wall with her information again.

Patient Name: Amelia Thang

Name: R--

D/O/B: 1/13/2568

Origin: Venus

Testing for Werefox gene: Affirmative

Further testing for shift: In progress

So she's seventeen, I thought. I didn't like killing that much, especially kids, even though she was only a little younger then me, but it was how I made a living. Plus, she's technically an alien, one of the species found when humans invaded other planets. I wondered why the name on the sheet was wiped out by black marker. I could only make out an 'R.' I looked at the flip side of the sheet.

Notes: HALF-Venus specimen, HALF- Venus Human

That's interesting.

Venus humans were evolved species of the earth human, with incredible speed and a higher heat tolerance. Even weirder for her to be half. Half of a specimen, not a known Venus species, a specimen.

I looked at the girl on the table again. They were finishing up, injecting her with meds one last time before rushing out of the room and into where I was, a room with one-way glass to observe the room beyond.

Her caretaker sat in the seat next to me, a cruel smile on her face as she looked through the one-way glass. Two-sided wench. The scientists crowded around the glass with clipboards and pens, writing notes as they waited to see if she would shift.

I peered through the glass; I didn't usually care for these things, but it would be cool, seeing a shift without the knowledge that once they were finished I was going to be attacked.

She began to scream again, steam rising from her skin as she writhed on the table, trying to get out of her bonds. One by one, the thick leather straps snapped, the sound echoing throughout the room and through the glass, vibrating and causing several scientists to jolt.

She rose from the table and, quicker than lightning, was in front of the glass, staring at us through it. She couldn't see through it, right? I felt...uneasy. For the first time in a long time.

Her purple eyes focused on mine, staring. I was entranced by the dark purple hues. So many hues...

Her mouth elongated into a muzzle. Her limbs shortened into legs and paws. A tail grew. Orange and white fur sprouted from the fluid covered skin.

A large vixen with white fur instead of black was standing in front of the window, sharp teeth bared and ready to pounce on the scientists beyond the glass.

She broke it, glass shards flying throughout the room, scratching some, killing others. I was tempted to smile; it was amusing, best I had in years.

Her caretaker screamed, a blood curdling scream, the scientists fleeing, or frozen, or huddling in a corner trying to take notes. I watched from my corner as she bit into her caretaker's neck, blood splattering onto her fox face. Your blocks taught me nothing! A voice yelled from everywhere and no where, reverberating and echoing eerily. Cool.
