"Come on you guys! Pack your backpacks!" You yelled from the bottom of the stairs up to your two children Darcy who's 5 and James who's 11.
"Dad will be here soon!"
You and Harry have been separated for almost two years now. You weren't divorced, you just needed some time. You loved spending time with Harry but with him always traveling, it was too much for you. You had to do what was best for your two beautiful children.
This weekend your kids were going to stay with Harry. "Honey, I'm home!" You hear Harry sing coming in the front door. You laugh and run up to hug him. "Daddy!!" You hear your daughter running down the stairs into her daddy's arms. "Darc! How are you?" She just giggles and runs into the kitchen followed by Harry.
"James come on!" You yell up the stairs again. You decide to walk up stairs to find him. You walk into his room to see him laying on his bed. "Come on dads here." You sit down and rub his back. "Mommy? Why doesn't daddy live with us anymore?" You sighed. "We talked about this, we still love each other but it's just better this way." He picked up his back pack and walked down the stairs to see Harry. "Alright, why don't you guys go get in the car?" Harry told your kids. James scooped up Darcy and carried her out to the car.
"Taylee, we need to talk."
"What's their to talk about Haz?"
"Angel, I miss you so much. I can't stand being away from you any longer. Can we please make it work again?" You have never seen Harry so vulnerable.
"Haz, I don't know-" Harry wrapped his hands along your waist.
"Tay, please, tour is over" All of a sudden your son runs in the front door with tears in his eyes.
"Mommy, I don't want to go!"
"J, don't you wanna come spend time time with me? Harry asked crouching down to his height.
"I want to be with both you! I miss being a family." You have never heard your son talk this way.
Both of the men in your life stared at you waiting for answer. You did miss Harry! You loved him so much.
"I miss you too." Harry's face grew into a big smile as he picked up your smiling son and spun him around cheering."
