"What!?" Chandler scoffed. "No! We won't do that! We only just got together this is ridiculous!" He sounded outraged and looked at Monica to see her response, unfortunately she had that glimmer in her eye that he knew all too well.
"Well..." Monica started "we won't have to do it long chandler, I mean they'll give up way before us."
"Is that a good thing?" Chandler asked in confusion. He had just started a new relationship and now his girlfriend wants to keep her hands off him?!
"I just think you're scared." Ross piped in and even Rachel was coming round to the idea. After the other three's reaction, chandler felt no choice,
"Fine, but we have one last day before we start." He was willing to do it but first he wanted some time alone with Monica.
"Ok. It's official. Which ever couple can not be a couple the longest wins... Fifty bucks from the other two. Deal?" Phoebe summarised.
"Deal." The Gellers said in unison.

Chandler leant up on his elbow stroking the hair off Monica's forehead, "do we really have to do this? I'm gonna miss you so much!" Chandler said, still not convinced about the bet.
"I know, I know," she started, "but don't you think it would be interesting? I mean I know we've been together, what? A week? But it feels like so long ago that we weren't together. Don't you think it would be fun to try and be like we used to be. We have done that for the last 10 years, what harm can a couple of days do?" Chandler mutters an agreement, "And, if we win we get $100 to spend on whatever we like." Monica grinned. "Okay," a soft smile set across Chandler's face "But not before..." He leant into Monica...

"Ross, what's the time?" Rachel asked as they lay side by side.
"Nearly midnight, why?" He replied.
"Well, we only have until midnight, you do realise Joey and Phoebe will be keeping watch don't you?" Something clicked for Ross as he moved closer to Rachel and set his lips onto hers gently at first, then pressing into a passionate kiss.
10 minutes later
"Monica! Chandler!" Joey yelled into the bedroom of apartment 19.
"Ross! Rachel!" Phoebe yelled into the bedroom of apartment 20.
"Come on sweetie, all we have to do is set Ross and Rachel up where possible. It won't be difficult." Monica said as she put on her slippers and her and chandler walked out of the bedroom, through the hall to meet with the other four.
"Ha! You already lose! You ran over!" Ross shouted.
"No no. I checked, they finished in time." Joey replied, obviously wanting this competition to last longer.
"So, me and Joey will be watching all of you and just to double check, I will be crashing on Monica and Rachel's couch." Phoebe explained.
"God Pheebs, that seems a bit OTT!" Rachel started until Pheobe gave a death stare. "But really that sounds good." She hastily added.
"Ok then, I guess we'll see you girls in the morning then." Chandler stood up and slightly stepped towards Monica before trying to turn the manoeuvre into a dance. "You're welcome children." And we strolled back into his apartment closely followed by Joey and an overconfident Ross.
