Dimitri
With a violent growl, I sent my left fist flying through the air to the wall in front of me.
"Why can't I find her, Al?!" I yelled. She didn't even flinch, mostly because she was mostly deaf, but also because she was used to my outbursts. Alyssa stood up and out a hand on my shoulder.
"Calm down, Dimitri. You can't lose hope," she said. Her speech sounded perfectly normal about 95% of the time, but sometimes get vowels came out fuzzy.
She was born with her hearing, but when she found her mate, a witch of sorts, their mating mixed her werewolf genes with his magical genes and she got supernatural powers, but her hearing suffered. With a wave of her hand she fixed the wall and healed my bloody knuckles and swollen wrist. She was getting good at them with a lot of practice. She helped me a lot, and she was also our pack doctor because of her abilities.
Before either of us could say anything my Beta, Jackson mind linked me.
Alpha, he said.
What?! I growled.
Rogues are surrounding the north border, they're about to- he was cut off and I heard screams outside and Alyssa quickly teleported us to the battle.
There were only about 30 rogue wolves, and we had at least 60 superior warriors already on the premises. Though I knew they had it handled, I quickly shifted into my giant black wolf and went after the largest rogue, their leader. He was an ugly, dingy orange color, and I took him down easily.
After he was dead I shifted back and stood up in the middle.
"Freeze!" I commanded to my alpha tone, every wolf in the clearing that was alive froze and my pack backed up behind me, not shifting back.
"Anyone who would like to surrender and potentially join this pack, shift back now," I announced loudly. About 1/3 of the remaining wolves shifted back, and they all looked rather young. I had Jackson and a few others take them to the cellars for questioning.
"Last call!" I shouted. Five more wolves shifted and I nodded for Jackson to take them as well. The remaining seven or so wolves snarled at me and I signaled my warriors to kill the rest.

Alyssa and I went to the cellars after all the rogue bodies were gathered and thrown into a pit, to be burned tonight. It was Alyssa's job to heal the rogues before I personally questioned each rogue, deciding whether they are allowed to join my pack or if they are to be killed.
It had always been my policy to offer this to rogues once I took out their leader, because I know sometimes they're forced to do what they don't want to. I got my Beta, and best friend, for all intents and purposes, by living this motto, and he has never once betrayed me, or even shown signs of rebellion. He's been loyal since we crossed paths six years ago. A year later I asked him to take the Beta position and he accepted.

After my interviews and Alyssa forcing the rogues to tell their intentions, all but three of the ten initial rogues were put on probation, beginning their start in my pack.
We had a celebration that night and burned the rogue bodies, offering them to the Moon Goddess as a kind of sacrifice as we welcomed our new members.
It was tradition to pray for the thing you needed most.
Moon Goddess, I began, this is the last time I will bother you of this matter, and I will accept your decision after this time, but I must ask once more. Please, I pleaded, send me my mate. Make her gentle, kind, and loving, just as I've dreamed. I will treat her like my queen, with so much love and respect. She will be my number one concern.
