After dinner, we got called to go back to our common rooms. I still walked slowly. 'great.' I thought. 'Now, not only am I in Slytherin, but the 'golden trio' is done. Hermione is probably ok, but Ron probably hates my guts.' after what seemed like hours, we reached the Slytherin common room. It was a bit more welcoming than I expected.The chairs weren't as plush, and the green fire set a eerie glow, but otherwise it wasn't half bad. there where green and silver decorations everywhere, and a rather squishy carpet covering the stone floor. there was a main couch, some armchairs, a couple games of wizard chess set up, some odd Slytherin decorations, and two doorways, one leading to girl dormitories, and one to the boys. I relized Snape was down here, and then remembered that he was the Slytherin house keeper (or whatever its called). he stood up. "To all the new students" he paused and scaned the room, his eyes resting on me for longer than needed. "the dormitories are set up in rooms. each room has two beds, and a bathroom. your stuff has already been placed. the room partners are....." he read down a long list of room sharers, and when he came to one he stopped and smiled. "in room 10 will be Mr. Potter, and Mr. Malfoy." I gasped. great, I'm in Slytherin, and i have to share a room with my enemy. I looked at him, and he gave me a look. "Alright, that is all, now go to your dormitories." everyone hurried off. i found room 10 and walked in. the room kind of resembled the ones in Gryffindor. The beds where dark oak, with green and silver curtans lining it, and a green bed spread with the Slytherin crest on it. "well Potter, i guess were roomates now. welcome to Slytherin." I turned around in surprise. i did not hear Malfoy enter the room. He was behind me, doing the famous 'Malfoy smirk'. "You know," I said. "if where in the same house, and were going to be roomates, then we should re-do first year. it's our last year, and by now this is kinda ridiculous." he sighed. "i guess your right. you where getting boring to pick on anyway." "well then, lets do it." I held out my hand and said "Hi, I'm Harry Potter, but you can call me Harry." He reached out and shook my hand. "Hi Harry, I'm Draco Malfoy,but you can call me Draco." I smiled at him, and surprisingly, he smiled back. actualy, I'm surprised he even agreed to be friends so quickly. "well then,this has been a long day, i don't know about you Po- i mean Harry, but I'm going to bed." he flopped face-first onto his bed, and pretended to snore, louder than needed. I laughed. "Honestly Ma- I mean Draco, you don't seem as bad as i thought you would be." he rolled around. "Well, before, I hated you, now were friends. and also" He grabbed something out of his dresser. "You will need this." he tossed me a pair of Slytherin robes. "Oh ya, thanks. um, i'll go try them on, then i'll throw my old ones out." I walked into the bathroom. They fit perfectly. i walked out. "So, how do they look?" Draco slapped his hands to his face and let out a girlish screem. "OMG, you look FABULALSY SLYTHERIN!" He said in a also girlish voice. I started laghing really hard. "Draco- *gasp* -stop!" i kept on laghing and he joined in. When we finally stopped, i took a couple breaths, and sat down on my bed. when I wasn't looking, Draco threw a pillow at me. i looked up. "Oh don't you dare! just letting you know, i am the master of pillow fights so..." "well" Said Draco "I bet you've never had a magic pillow fight." He took out his wand, and started shooting pillows at me with it. Our pillow fight lasted for about an hour, until we both agreed it was time to go to sleep. I slept good knowing that I had a new best friend as a roommate. Slytherin might not be as bad as I thought.
