Waiting for Love [A Shoey FanFic]

Joey's POV

"May the odds be ever in your favor, GOOOOOODBYE!" I said to my camera as I turned it off and flopped on my bed. It was only 11:30, but I was already getting tired. I started getting changed into my Totoro pajamas when my phone vibrated.

"Hey, Joey!" Shane said on the other end.

"What's up Shane?" I said, not wanting to really be bothered. But it was SHANE. Shane was calling me! I loved hearing his voice, always so happy. I really, really liked him. But he had Lisa. He would never like me back. He was straight.

"Wanna come over and make some videos? I saw this tag video that looked fun. And I just got a new camera to test out, too." He sounded so excited about it. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Sure, I'll be right over. I won't be able to make too many though. I'm exauhsted." I said, slipping my shirt back on and sliding on some shoes.

"Great! Can't wait! Bye!" He said and hung up. Yess, an exuse to see Shane. I took chance of every oppurtunity I had to see him. His gorgeous eyes, sexy hair... Joey, STOP. He's straight. I fixed my hair, making sure it looked perfect and sprayed on some cologne. All ready, I guess. I hopped into the car and started driving to Shane's.

Shane's POV

Yess! Joey was coming over! I was so nervous on the phone asking him to come. He was just so perfect... But he'll never love me. He's already got so many girls falling for him. I wiped some sweat off my brow and heard Joey knock on the door.

"Heyy!" I said, opening the door for him. He looked so great, as always. So polished. He smelled good. I eyed those soft, plump lips of his. I wanted to kiss him so, so bad. But there was no way.

"Hey Shane! What tag we doing?" He asked, walking in. His cologne filled the room and it smelled grest, just like it always did. 

"Uhh..." I said, losing my track of thought. Fuck, I was making it all awkward now, wasn't I. 

"Hi Corny!" Joey cheered and bent down to pet my dog, luckily giving me time to pull myself together. 

"I was thinking of the Tumblr Tag. That okay?" I said, wanting everything to be fine with him to. I would never want him to be unhappy. 

"Yeah sure! In the usual recording spot?" He asked, heading towards my tripod.

Joey's POV

We finished filming a few videos when I called quits, as it was around 2 and I could barely keep my eyes open. Shane agreed and went to the bathroom real quick. Well, actually, he had been in there for a while... But I didn't care because I was too busy thinking.

On Tumblr, we saw so many things about Shoey... I wished they were true so bad. We saw at least 10 photos of us kissing. That was amazing. That kiss... It started everything. That's when I realized I was gay. When I realized I loved Shane. And loved him more than just as a friend. I wanted him to be my boyfriend. But he had Lisa... They were a happy couple. I couldn't help but be jealous. I wanted to be in Lisa's position so bad. But not as Lisa... as me.
