Draco and Hermione. (Pushed into friendship)

Description:
Only a crazy person would be surprised Hermione Jean Granger got Head Girl after the war.
Only a crazy person would expect Draco Lucius Malfoy got Head Boy.
But alas, it is the crazy person who is well... Crazy!

Hermione Jean Granger (Rose Alice Potter). The Brightest Witch of Her Age. The "brains" of the Golden Trio. The Gryffindor Princess. The Future Mrs Weasley( or so she thinks), becomes head girl of Hogwarts, the first after the second wizard war.

Draco Lucius Malfoy. Son of a former death eater. The amazing bouncing ferret. The egolostical cocroach. The pompous prat. The Slytherin Prince. The one who fixes the Malfoy name when it was destroyed after the second wizard war, becomes head boy at Hogwarts.

The Head's dorm is in the Room of Requirement. But only one bedroom and bathroom for the both of them. Both Headmistress McGonagall, and Professor Dumbledore agreed for a Gryfindor and Slytherin to be heads. More specifically, two mortal enemies, brought together by this one simple action of sharing a room and of course the fact they were to be wed within the school year!

The Wizard Population has decreased to less than half of what it was before the BOH. So the Ministry made a new marriage law. anyone who is 16-24 has to get their spouse. But its not the people who choose. Its the sorting hat!

To Ms. Granger,


You have been accepted to repat your 7th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I am pleased to tell you, you have also been accepted as this years Head Girl. If you choose to return to Hogwarts, that is. Your badge will be enclosed in the envolope. I have one more thing to say, I am sorry too say but the Grangers were killed by Rolphdolus Lestrange late last night, who was caught after the murders. Your were also adopted by the Grangers as a baby to protect you from your identity. You are not a Granger but a Potter, Rose Alice Potter to be exact. Proffesor Dumbledore collected you the night before He-who-must-not-be-named attacked, so you dont have a scar. Enchantments were placed on you to change your look and will be removed on your birthday at midnight, which I believe is this Friday? I sent a letter to Mr. Potter informing him of your true heretige. I hope you have a good rest of your summer holidays Ms. Gr-Potter.

My eyes widened, I am Harrys sister?! My "parents" were killed?! But they are in Australia! I heard a cough behind me. I turned and Harry was standing in the doorway looking as shocked as me.

"R-Rose?" Harry whispered. I only nodded, to shocked to speak. Harry walked up and pulled me into a bear hug.

"I knew there was something about you, did you feel a conection on the first train ride to Hogwarts? When you walked into me and Ron's compartment looking for Neville's toad? I did." He said in one breath.

" Harry! Breathe. it wont do anyone any good if 'the boy who lived' died from lack of oxygen." I laughed. There was a loud THUMP from the stairs, followed by grunts and groans, so I, being the curious Gryffindor I am, went to investigate. It was only Ron and George who, by the looks of it, ran into each other and fell down the stairs.

" Do be more careful, Ronald" I scolded. Ron spluttered.

" KIDS LUNCH TIME" Mrs. Weasley shouted.

"MUM! WE AREN'T KIDS ANYMORE!" Ron shouted back. I laughed and pulled Harry into the kitchen which earned stares from Ron and George.

"Oh Her- I mean Rose! I am so sorry about the Grangers! They were the parents you wouldnt have had if you had stayed as a baby" Mrs. Weasley started sobbing into my shoulder. I awkwardly patted her head.

" You and Arthur are like second parents to me, Molly and i still have you two." I said softly.

"I am sorry about that dear, I can only imagine the shock your going through right now," Molly straightened up, "I recieved a letter from the ministry of a new law, A marriage law, and they require all witches and wizards ages 16-24 to report to the Ministry, Oh Merlin! 5 Minutes ago! Hurry up now into the fireplace!"
