Evan's POV

I woke up to my alarm blaring Life Cylces by The Word Alive. It's monday which only means school again and trying to get closer to leah.

I showered and put on some cologne after getting dressed.

I finally headed out of the portal from heaven. Its disguised as a crappy hotel my luck right?

It was already third period which meant music class. To my surprise leah was in this class.

Man i really never noticed it till now at how beautiful she is. Her blonde and brown hair that fell to her shoulders. Amazing figure and crystal blue eyes. Damn she was hot!

Wait no. She is the daughter of Satan I can't fall for her.

I must of been thinking about her too much because before i knew it class was over and fourth started.

It was finally lunch time and i was fucking starving. I made some guy friends in gym so that's a positive.

I went outside with my lunch when I saw leah sitting by a tree reading a book.

I decided it's time that i get close to that girl.

I snuck up behind her.

"boo"

i said as she jumped looking furious. i just laughed to myself and took a seat right a cross from her. she just rolled her eyes and kept reading. Man she really looks cute mad.

"so what are you reading?"

i asked as i popped a grape into my mouth.

She finally gave in sighing and putting her book down to look at me.

"its romeo and juliet i know its old but its still a good book plus its better than Mrs. Hendersons homework. Im terrible at math right now."

Hm maybe this means i could get clother to her.

"i could help you with it after school today. I'm pretty good at math."

i said while eating my sandwhich. I noticed she had laughed a little at that. Her laugh is adorable.

Wait Evan what are you thinking. She's the enemy.

'Fine ill be at your locker so we can go to your place. my dad doesnt want boys in the house while he's working."

Yeah while your dad tortures people.

The bell rang indicating that lunch was over and only two more hours left.

"ok ill be waiting then."

i got up and left for my next class. I wasnt able to get her off my mind walking to class.

I decided not to wait on Leah and just go to her locker where i saw her with her friends. I came up behind her and all her friends started to giggle. She turned around only to hit my chest since she was so much shorter than me. I noticed her begin to blush.

After her friends left she pulled me close and spoke angrily to me.

'I thought i said to wait by your locker not mine."

i bit my lip and shrugged. She rolled her eyes and headed out the door while i followed. I lead the way to my home and caught quick glances at her and sometimes founder her blushing.

I lead the way to my room that looked like shit from the outside but inside was not half bad.

She set her books down on the bed and sat down.

"Um do you want anything to drink i have water, monster, orange juice, and sprite."

i said fiddling with my fingers. she just shook her head no.

" let's just get this done with."

i sat down with her as we began to work out the problems. She actually wasn't as bad as she said she was. Sometimes we'd both end up accidently touching hands but it didnt bother me and i dont think her either.

As we got closer to finishing i decided to ask her some questions.

"So what is your family like?"

i asked twirling a pencil in my hand. She pushed her hair behind her ear.

" just ok i guess. It's me my brother and dad. Our mom and dad split up. And what about yours."

I bit my lip not wanting to answer.

"oh i dont have one i was just jumped from foster home to foster home. It was alright till i decided to live on my own"

she made an oh sound after that. It was true that i was a foster child but i died in a car accident. But i still have human features since i have to watch over her and keep her in line.

We kept asking eachother questions till her phone began to ring. She mustve been talking to her dad since she said she'd be home soon.

I helped her with her things and she was headed to the door but turned back to me.

"Listen im sorry for being a total bitch to you i shouldnt have been. Maybe tomorrow after school we could go get some coffee?"

i smiled and and told her i would like that.

She smiled and parted her way. I'm i actually falling for this girl. i can't she is the enemy. But man she is cute.

I took off my clothes leaving me only in my boxers as i layed in bed thinking about the pros and cons with this girl. I finally felt my eyes get heavy and drifted off to sleep
