"Hey guys" Ethan piped up to break the silence, "Layla told me we had an important meeting." A girl jumped over the couch running towards him exclaiming "uncle Ethan!" The teen then hugs him tightly, "Hey kiddo how's the technological stuff been" he says hugging her back before prying her arms off him walking over to the large couch climbing over it, watching him climb over her face brighten up "its been okay I suppose" she blushes, in the corner a mixed coloured hair lady with cloudy eyes places her cup down on it's saucer "she's been occupied with a boy" the lady snickers "Aunty!" The teen exclaims covering her face "oh calm down Jade it's nothing to be ashamed of we all had crushes when we were your age" she continues to snicker. Smacking her head lightly a towering man clears his throat "I've called you here because I trust each of you in a specific way, I have heard rumors that the tether* may be attacked by a force stronger than Ethan when he throws a tantrum" he says his voice being low, Ethan stands up "Hey! Conner man that's not cool I don't get stronger when I throw a tantrum." He exclaims his voice cracking, smirking Conner continues "in other news Sav and Cyrus are happy on their honeymoon and there have been no sightings of The Forgotten or his apprentice The Wither King."

Conner stands there silent looking at Ethan with concern in his eyes, the rest of the group turn worried for Ethan at the mention of his tormentor's name "Eth-" Jade goes to say "Jade no leave him be I'm sure he doesn't want to talk about that situation at this time" Conner says placing his hand on his daughter's shoulder standing together you could tell they were related looking the same the difference being Jade having green eyes. Brushing the topic aside Ethan cleared his throat again saying "Has anyone heard anything from Kaira? I haven't heard from her in awhile" he says looking around at his comrades worry forming in his eyes, "None of us has heard anything since the fight against The Forgotten she just disappeared, there has been rumors about a lab in America being attacked by a dragon looking female with robotic limbs but nothing to clarify it's her" a man explains walking into the room. Ethan turns to face the man seeing his own twin brother "Justin" Ethan smiles "where have you been hiding away?" he continues walking towards him, "In my books like always brother and America meeting Misaki's parents" he smiles pulling Ethan into an embrace tightly hugging him. "You and your books you never have your nose out of it" he laughs breaking the embrace. Standing beside his daughter Conner laughs "that is all the important news I have right now unless anyone else has important news I say this meeting is finished"

Walking down the street talking with his older brother about the attacks, the bushes start to shuffle as they both face it weapons appearing in their hands, "Come out with your hands up" they say in unison.

-The Tether is the core of Northwick, it keeps Northwick together and forms the storms around it making it impossible for outsiders to make their way in, the only way outsiders can get in is if they brave the storms or come in with someone from Northwick
