Macey's Diary

Chapter 3:

I actually had a chance with him now. When I walked in, and everyone was standing up against the wall. I'm guessing we were assigning seats. That's how they do it in kindergarten.

So everyone sat down except me, this boy named Jerry, and Al. So Jerry got put by Maddy, and It was only me and Al. Okay. I started to actually panic inside. I was laughing, but also crying. I was hopeful that we actually sat next to each other and didn't sit 10 seats away.

Skip a little, we did sit next to each other. I purposely dropped my pencil, and so when I went to go pick it up, he would too and then we would touch hands.

"Thanks, I'm really clumsy."

I felt like he knew that I liked him, because my face turned as red as a kid's shirt that was sitting behind me.

"No problem, I'm clumsy too."

But I guess it wasn't so bad. He is really sweet, and he kinda deserve to get one of my shyness things out. I don't know how to say it, but basically, i was shy but he kinda knew that already. I really wanted to get to know this boy, so I decided to ask him weirdly for his number. I SwEAr It WAsn'T WeIRd.

"Hey, so a couple of my friends are going to a bonfire, wanna come?"

Asked me, if they wanna come? really? wow. I wasn't trying to get to over excited.

"Sure, will there be parent vision?"

He just stared at me, and I don't think that there will be. I hope that my mom doesn't find out. She will probably freak out.

"Uhm, I don't think so, it's a bonfire. And its just us, so no, sorry. The kid who's having it parent's are out of town."

Ugh, great. I had to think of something to say, do I lie and say, Oh yeah, thats fine. Or be that one stupid kid that says oh no, sorry I can't because my mommy wants me to have supervision at all times. No! Uh Uh!

"Yeah that's totally fine. I was just wondering. Ya know, parents know best. hehe. Uhm anyways, so who will be there? When is it by the way?"

"Oh, It's on a saturday at 5 PM to 10 PM, then we will probably all go get ice cream. Sound like a good plan?"

He never answered my question of "who is going to be there". I feel like he was neglecting that question. I feel like he felt that I wasn't really going to go, or I wasn't cool enough. I have to get a new outfit, do my hair really nice, or I could be a fake girl and just wear a boat load of makeup and do my hair special, but I thought, eh. I was just going to be natural, but with a little bit of makeup. (;

"Oh, just uhm, some football players, and a lot of people. Mostly the popular girls, that I feel would make you at home, or would just totally wreck you, but they are mostly nice to new people that join our squad. You'll be fine, and if they mess with you, remember, I'm always here for ya (;"

*riinggggg*

There was the bell. I had a break, and it was my lunch, and I had lunch with most of the popular girls.

"let's go, don't wanna be late"

I was pretty nervous to go to lunch with most of the popular girls. Something I didn't write earlier is the most popular, asked me to eat with her. So I had already had plans, but someone else might as me to sit with them.

"Macey! Hey! Come sit over here!"

Uh oh, it was Nick and his friends. I didn't want to dis the barbie dolls but I reallllyyy didn't want to miss out on this opportunity, so I went to go sit with the "Jocks"

"Oh, hey! What's up?"

I played it off and I tried to make my face not turn soo red, because me and Nick were just friends , right? ;)

"Wanna sit with us? I have to talk to you about something, anyways."

"Yeah sure!"

Okay, so I sat down, and he kinda moved all of the food to the side, and he told me to sit on the table top. I was thinking, what's going on here? But I just played it off anyways.

"Macey, you're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, and you're so nice. Even though we just met, I already have feelings for you. Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

OMG I JUST STOOD THERE AND FLIPPED OUT, BUT OF COURSE KNOWING ME I HAD TO SAY YES!!!!!!!!!! H E W A S A J O C K O F T H E S C H O O L A N D H E A S K E D M E O U T WHAAAAAAA!!!!/???!?!

"Oh my gosh, Nick! Yes of course I will!"

Then of course I had to give him a hug, because I was soooo happy! Of course the first thing I notice is the main barbie doll, Georgie, look at me angrily.

*PAUSE REALITY I FORGOT WHAT I CALLED THE MAIN POPULAR GIRL BUT I MIGHT FIX IT LATER :)*

Of course she would be jealous. Usually if a boy asks you out, you won't have to worry about him breaking up with you, because HE asked YOU out, so I guess that was good.

I was so happy the next day at school, and I felt really confident, because I had a boy that was making me confident.
"Hey Nick, what's up? How are you?"

He looked pretty upset. What was going on? Was he okay? I hope so.
