Chapter 2

Heather's POV

I sighed and ran back to my apartment. I stopped on my tracks as I saw a boy about my age standing in front of the door.He turned around and saw me.

"Hi, you must be Heather right?" He asked extending his hand for me to shook. I blushed and nodded while shaking his hand.

"The Alpha requested for your presence. " he continued. I followed him as he lead the way into the forest."Shift." he demanded.

I nodded and instantly shift when I realized I had been stupid enough not to remove my clothes before shifting.I shrugged it off and followed the boy .You must be wondering why is it that I don't even know anyone in my pack apart from my mom.

When I was younger, my mother kept me isolated from the outside world. She said it was too dangerous out there. When I grew up, I took online course on the internet. Yet, I am still in a pack.I'm not a rouge."White wolf?"I nodded.Let me just say, Yes,I'm white wolf, I know it's rare.Guess I'm lucky.

My eyes widened as we came upon a large house-wait no,mansion.I assumed it's the pack house.After shifting back to human form, we made our way to the front door. I chugged on the big white tshirt that stopped on my knees that the boy gave me.

Kian's POV

I saw her eyes glistened in awe and admiration as we stepped into the pack's house. Exactly the same expression I wore when I first arrived here.I lead her to the Alpha's office and bid her goodbye.She's sweet and cute but, no thanks, got to wait for my mate.

Heather's POV

My heart raced as I knocked on the Alpha's door. "come in." I twisted the doorknob and entered the room.The Alpha smiled upon seeing my arrival. But his eyes,there's glint of sadness in his eyes.I bowed my head with respect."Aaaaaah, you must be Heather?" I smiled and nodded."Am I in trouble?" My voice was low. But, I'm telling you,I'm scared as shit.

He chuckled and motion for me to sit down on one of the chair across him."I'm sorry for your loss Heather." My eyes jolted open."But, who died?" "Your mom." He said sadly. I just nodded and fight back the tears that threatened to come out.

"And because of that, you are welcomed to stay in the pack's house." I nodded again and looked at him. "Thank you so much, Alpha." Finally! I feel loved. I mean,if I stay in the pack's house then,I will never be alone.I could make some friends too and maybe meet my mate.

Maybe.

"Pack your things. I will call Kian to help you with your things." Seconds later, the boy who lead me here, who I surely assumed is Kian, came. He bowed his head at the Alpha and smiled. "Kian, help Heather pack her things and show her to her room." Kian nodded and answered,"Yes Alpha." Kian motioned for me to follow him and I followed him out of the office.

'Mate! Mate! Mate!'

My wolf yelled.

'Shut up, Rain! We need to pack my things and then we go search for your lover mate.'

She whimpered but agreed .And off we went to pack my things.
