When Christina was bleeding she though that if dying to be with her family was a bad idea. She tried to stop the bleeding but couldn't. A few minutes later a man by the name of Charles saw that In the woods was a fire. He immediately pulled over and ran into the woods to see what was happening. When he got to the crash site he was James's body and he saw the small child's body on the soot-covered ground.
Charles looked closer at one of the "dead" bodies but noticed that it wasn't dead.  The "dead" body was Christina. He ran over to see if she was okay. Christina told him in a very soft whisper "I...I...need...to...to...die...to...be...with...my...family..." Charles looked at her with confusion and saw that her wrists were cut and bleeding.  He grabbed a handkerchief out of his pocket and covered the wounds.
Christina uncovered her cuts and tried to run away from Charles while he was trying to call an ambulance. He saw her trying to run away and saw the huge hole in her calf and gasped at the sight. Charles ran after her, picked her up and ran to his car with her over his shoulder.  She kicked and screamed while on Charles shoulder. While on his shoulder she squeezed her cuts to make them bleed more.
Charles tried to stop her from getting all of her blood on his jacket. By the time they were at his car his whole back was covered in her blood.  As he opened the door she fell off of his shoulder.  Christina shrieked in pain. Her punctured calf was poring out with blood. Her cuts on her wrists were also bleeding a lot.
Charles quickly put her in his Mustang. He went way over the speed limit on the highway.  Every now and then, he would look at Christina with his big blue eyes form the rear view mirror.  He would look back at him with pain and agony. He felt much remorse for her, even though he didn't do anything...well that's what he thought at least.
Christina started to yell and scream. Charles didn't know that to do to keep her calm. He tried to put on some soothing music. That didn't work. He tried to talk to her. That also didn't work. He saw that he was five miles away from the hospital. Charles told Christina that they were very close to help.
