On the Inside

Drake told me "no new friends" they waste your time

A friend told me "don't keep feelings inside"

My problem is, after all these years,

I've helped others oh yes

Selfless

Kindness

Yep my weakness

Becoming too generous can get reckless and careless

So when someone asks "are you fine?"

" Can i help give me a sign?..."

A bell goes off in my head,maybe even a chime,

Should i tell them whats been going on... all this while?

I never know what to do... so i lie

Lying is supposed to help right?

But slowly everything will go into decline,

Soon i will reach my deadline

Don't want to make headlines.

So I say I'm fine

Yes I'll be the sideline

So you don't go through what I do.

One thing I will never ever ever be

Although it won't be as easy as 1,2,3
