The next morning I woke up to Daddy's snoring. I tried wiggling away but his arms wrapped tighter around my waist. I booked his face until he woke up."what is it princess ?" . Just then my belly growled and it sounded like a big kitty . Daddy laughed and picked me up "what do you want to eat poochie ?" I tried to speak but my paci turned my words into mumbles. He pulled the paci out of my mouth and I said it again "grilled cheese!!!" I said happily. Daddy smiled and put the paci back in my mouth before walking down stairs. He set me down on the counter and started cooking my grilled cheese. After awhile a guy came in and started laughing. I whimpered and Daddy shot the man a glare. The man walked over to me "well aren't you a pretty little thing." I smiled at the man and waved. Daddy gave me the grilled cheese and started talking to the man." Ben so did we get the money that the Germans had?" The man named Ben nodded and smiled at me again. " So what's her name?" I time my paci out to speak but Daddy answered for me "her name is Dani." Ben smiled and pulled Daddy off to the side. So I happily nibbled on my grilled cheese.
