Al pulled her into Roy's office quickly. "Alphonse! I  can't leave them like that!" Riza cried. Al shook his head and lightly pushed her onto the chair. He sat next to her quietly. Riza heard a noise and turned her head towards the sound. Al shot her a warning glance. Riza sighed. "But Alphonse, what if there dying!" Riza protested.

"You just won't give up will you." Al commented. "Roy told me to take you somewhere safe." Al concluded. "Here isn't safe. Lets get you somewhere else." He added. Riza stomped her foot stubbornly; but Al would have none of it. He grabbed her hand and pulled her down the hallway, ignoring her attempts to struggle away. He knew the perfect place.

"Here we are!" Al said, after what seemed like hours of traveling. It was a run down barn that's roof looked as if it would cave in. Riza looked at it blankly.

"Why here?" Riza asked.

"Roy told me to keep you safe, none will find us here." Al explained. Riza flashed him an angry glance.

"Why? What if they aren't safe?" Riza argued.

"We can only hope for the best." Al replied shortly, not wanting to get into it.

"How can you be so calm?" Riza snapped. Al sighed.

"I'm just following the Colonel's orders." Al replied calmly.

"We left them fighting Homunculi!" Riza growled angrily.

"And?" He asked.

"I was perfectly capable of fighting on my own! So why couldn't I have fought?" Riza asked in exasperation.

"Because you're auto-mail can't handle it yet." Al replied.

"Can't handle it?" Riza snorted. "It's you that can't handle the fact that the Colonel isn't always right!" Riza shot back. Al flinched but said nothing. "And you don't have the decency to admit that I'm right! I'm going back to fight; I don't care what you say." Riza said, getting up. Al grabbed her hand.

"Please don't fight me on this one." Al half begged. Riza sat back down, giving in to him. She just hoped they'd be alright.
