Lets start off this one shot book with something not to wild cx

(Vic's POV)

I looked out the window as I see a Uhaul truck pull in the driveway to the next house over. We were supposed to be getting new neighbors today and they just arrived. I watched as a woman, a man, and what Im guessing is their son that looks closer to my age, got out of the car and started to unload the Uhaul.

"Victor," my mom said at the door, "Why don't you go out and help the Quinn's move their things in?" I nodded and got my shoes on and walked down the stairs and out the front door. I walked towards the Uhaul and went up to the man and woman,

"Hi I'm Vic from next door, would you guys like some help carrying this stuff inside?" I asked in the most polite voice I could muster up.

"Oh I would love that! I'm Mary Quinn, this is my husband Todd, and over there is our son, Kellin." She said, pointing to the front door as a guy with pale skin and jet black hair walked over. He looked only slightly shorter than me and he was wearing black skinny jeans and a Bring Me The Horizon shirt. "Kellin, this is Vic from next door, he will be helping us carry in out things." His mom explained, Kellin glanced over at me and gave me a small smile and let out a small 'Hi'. I smiled back at him and said 'Hello' back.

We worked on carrying their stuff in their house for about an hour and a half and this Kellin kid kept glancing at me. I don't know why but it was kind of adorable. Every time I would ask him a question he would either shrug and look at the ground and I thought I saw him smiling at one point, or stiffen and give me short yes or no answers.

"Thank you so much for your help Vic! I think we would be here until tomorrow if you didn't come by and help." Mary said with a small giggle.

"It's no problem Mrs. Quinn. If you need anything else, my family and I are just right next door." I said and pointed over to the house.

"Okay well have a good night Vic." Mary said.

"You too guys! Bye Kellin." I said to Kellin and smirked at him. He blushed and muttered a small 'Bye' and waved at me.

I turned around and started to walk back to my house, Kellin on my mind.

"So how was helping our new neighbors?" My mother asked me as soon as I walked in the door. She was putting plates of tacos down on the dining room table.

"It was okay. They were really nice and their son is cute." I told my mom and she just giggled. My mother knows Im gay and is 100% okay with it but when my dad found out he left us, taking my little brother, Mike, with him. Mike and I get to see each other every other weekend but when my dad brings him, we don't make eye contact, let alone talk to each other. My brother is a little weirded out because Im gay but he learned to live with it.

We ate out tacos and went to bed soon after because it was starting to get dark outside but I couldn't get to sleep because of one raven haired being on my mind.

I finally got some sleep at around 2 AM and Im really tired. I trudge downstairs to find mom made breakfast but it looked like there was more than just for me and her.

"I invited the Quinn's over for breakfast. They should be here any minute." My mom said. And at that moment there was a knock on the door. I look down and notice that Im still in my pajamas. My mom started to walk toward the door but I ran in front of her just before she could touch the knob.

"Im not ready yet! Are you crazy?!" I whisper-yelled at my mom. Gesturing to my half naked self.

"Then hurry upstairs and get ready then." My mom said with a small giggle. I nodded and bolted upstairs and turned the shower on. I quickly stripped from my pajama pants and boxers and took a quick 5 minute shower. I dried myself and threw on some random clothes before brushing my teeth and hair. I waked down the stairs to find Mr and Mrs Quinn sitting at the table on one side, Kellin on the other with an empty seat next to him, and my mom on the end. I looked over at Kellin to find he was looking right back at me. I smirk at him, giving him a little wink before pulling out the chair beside him and sitting down.
