Misunderstood

Life

Chloe's POV:

'The rest of the week is the last week of school 'til winter break is over, for us!!' Chloe thought. Me and Vanessa will get to hiking soon! I looked over at Vanessa to see if she was thinking the same, she smiled at me like she agreed. All winter we've been waiting for that day, and soon we could go. Though it didn't snow much here, we still enjoyed the cold weather. More like I enjoyed the cold. Vanessa was more into warmer weather, it was her thing. ''Van, you almost done? We gotta go!'' I said suddenly looking at the clock. She nodded as she stuffed the rest of her toast into her mouth. I shook my head and laughed, while dad scolded her smiling. It was just us and our dad in our house so we pretty much took care of ourselves. ''Do you girls need a ride? I have some time before I gotta go.'' He said. ''Nope! Sorry, we're walking. See you tonight!'' Vanessa said grabbing her bag. I smiled and waved as we walked out of our house.
She pushed me and smiled, so I pushed her back. We laughed, because it was something we've been doing for a few years to tease each other. When we arrived at the school we spilt to our other friends. Vanessa was the older sister, and though she was, she acted like we weren't different ages. There was only a 2 year difference between us. She was 17 and I of course was 15. ''Hey! Look who's here! Its the ''Expert''!! Hahahaha!!'' Kale called. He was always teasing me like this, so I wasn't surprised. We all laughed as I came to my group of friends. ''So Nicole, how are you?'' I asked the red-haired girl. She was wearing a black shirt with a jean jacket. ''Meh, I'm good. I haven't seen you much, and I'm sorry about that. I've got a big test to prepare for. So I've been spending extra time in the library. Sorry.'' Nicole replied. I looked around, someone wasn't here... ''Where's Jamie? Is she here yet?'' I blurted. Just as Molly, a blond haired girl was about to answer we heard a horn.
I was surprised. Jamie was in her own car!! ''How'd you get that!?'' I cried as I ran over to her. She smiled, clearly happy.

Vanessa's POV:

I looked around for my group of friends, I couldn't find them. I checked everywhere I thought they could be. Most of us were nerdy, kids hated us because of that but I don't care. I decided my best solution was to text one of them, the I was closest to.
Hey, wer u at? Can't find u ppl.
It was confusing, they normally wouldn't hide on me. They know that I come at exactly 8:15 and to meet at the bushes beside the steps. Then my phone buzzed. It was Emma.
Hey srry, we at lib. U cmn??? :/
I laughed, Emma didn't make the best Emojis, but she tried. So I headed toward the stairs to get to the library. If you didn't already that out, ''lib'' means library. Then next thing I knew I was inches away from the cement. It was obvious who tripped me... Heather and her friends. Heather C. to be exact, yes, two Heathers. ''What do you want Heather 2!? Can't you leave me alone for one day!?'' I yelled as I got up. I hope she didn't hear me breathing heavily when I was face-to-face with cement. ''Ohhh! Why are you accusing me!? I wouldn't do such a thing! Right girls?'' Heather 2 cried sarcastically. They nodded and patted her back as if she were about to cry. It seems like that they always get what they want. My phone vibrated again as I stormed away.
U ok Van? We saw. Wut jerks. We meet West stairs.
I sighed, they seem to always watch those kinds of things. So I texted back and sat down.
Ya im fine...u don't always hav 2 be watching every thing that hppns 2 me.
I didn't expect an immediate respond, but I surprisingly did.
Van, seriously..... Its ok. Wer r u tho? Cmn?
I didn't want to so I got up and walked away from the door and down the steps to go be by myself. I jumped over Heathers leg as she stuck it out. She gasped in anger. She swung at me but I dodged it, clearly she forgot I was the best dodgeball dodger in 8th grade.

Chloe's POV:

'I hope Vanessa is ok..... H is always torturing and bullying her........maybe it will be different this time, I hope so.' I thought. ''Earth to Chloe! Chloe!?'' Emma called and turned back to them. ''Hm? Oh sorry..... Just checkin' on my sister. You know how H always bully's her....'' I explained, and they nodded. ''We should do something about it. Everyone knows she hates it when she gets mocked or something doesn't go her way. Oh!!!! We could ask a favor from Ed to make it look like one of us stole her boyfriend!! Hahahaha! That would be cool!'' Nicole blurted. We all just stared at her like seriously? But some of stifled a laugh by pretending to cough. ''What!? It would, and admit it!! I'm not stupid! You people like the idea! C'mon.'' Nicole yelled. We nodded agreeing. By the way, if don't know, ''Ed'' is short for Edward and he is the cutest guys in our grade.
