At the end of the "meeting" in the gym it was already 2:57. Since school got out at 3:00 the kids were gonna do nothing else besides get ready to be picked up. "Hey Collin!" "Oh hey Kat, just the girl I was looking for!" Kat knew Collin liked her, and Collin knew Kat liked him. It was very awkward but right as Kat's name got called Collin asked "hey Kat can I get your number please?" Kat stopped and said "of course and we can text tonight." Collin types the number and said " thanks and I don't want to sound creepy but can I get a hug before you leave?" "Um yeah of course you can, we're like best friends now!" Said Kat blushing a little as she realized she was just about to hug her crush. They hugged and Kat's name got called again by the Col. signaling that she needed to leave. Kat waved at Collin and Collin did the same and he watched her disappear. Collin walked over to Isaiah and acted all sad. "He why you sad?"asked Isaiah concerned about his best friend. "She left, but she did hug me!" Collin said excitedly. "Yeah and you got her number so, you didn't do to bad." Said Isaiah proud of his best friend. They high fived and then Collins name got called. Isaiah pat his buddy on his back and Collin left, replaying what just happened in his head.
